Being in a room full of people -people of high ranking in the Garrison-, was not something [Y/N] wanted to do in his day off. It was very rare that he took a day off of work in the first place, and when he did, he was called to an urgent meeting with the higher ups.

Being the Chief Doctor in the medical department of the Garrison, [Y/N] considered himself one of the high ranking people, though he didn't like it. He had staff working under him. They looked up to him for leadership and guidance, even when he didn't want to.

After everything that happened with Voltron and protecting the universe from Zarkon's evil plans, the Garrison got a call from the leader of the paladins, stating that the war has been won with the help of the newly crowned Emperor of the Galra, Lotor.

To show gratitude for the much needed help, Earth leaders have come together to agree to negotiate a pact of peace with the new government of the Galran race. And they have been invited to spend some sort of a vacation on Earth.

And they did. Team Voltron had escorted the Emperor's main battleship and his crew to land safely on earth, and were welcomed and greeted the way an Emperor should be greeted. Although, some of them were still feeling hesitant to fully trust the aliens.

It was the first time the human race have witnessed the presence of aliens. Sure, there were many conspiracy theories, some people even claimed that UFOs were sighted in some areas, but this was the official meeting with actual aliens.

To say the humans were fully enthralled by them, was an understatement. The foreign race captured the attention of everyone the moment they landed on the planet. Their technology, anatomy, equipment, battle strategies, etc., was out of the world. Literally.

So again, here was [Y/N], by orders of the higher ups to attend a meeting to debrief of the previous, and hopefully last, battle, and to explain the possibility of fully utilizing the vacation given to them in a way that satisfies both sides.

[Y/N] was sitting at the very back of the room, making himself as small and unnoticeable as possible. He doesn't fully know why he had to attend a meeting that was meant only for the military, engineers, and those with brains. No need for any medical attention.

He expressed his displeasure to Doctor Sam Holt, who insisted that he had to attend the meeting even if there was nothing of importance being mentioned. As much as [Y/N] was annoyed to have his hard earned day off disturbed, he somehow felt the need to be there. For what, he doesn't know.

But he kind of knew. The moment his eyes landed on that silvery, white hair, bluest eyes surrounded by yellow sclera, sharp features, smooth jaw, muscle definition, and tall build. All the Galra were tall, mind you, but being the tallest in the room, it was hard not to notice the dominating presence of the Emperor.

He was surrounded by four women, who were introduced as his generals. Acxa, Zethrid, Ezor, and Narti. Narti was blind and mute, and had some sort of an alien feline perched on her shoulder, to help her see everything that is going on. How, again, he doesn't know.

[Y/N] had long since tuned out whatever was said in the meeting. It doesn't concern him, so why should he pay attention? He really thought about dozing off when he felt eyes on him. Intense and unwavering.

He looked around the room. Everybody was looking towards the front of the room, where the captain Shirogane Takashi, was currently talking, with the Emperor throwing his two cents when needed. Nobody was paying attention to [Y/N]. He might be imagining things, but he just can't shake the feeling of being watched.
