Chapter Six

"I still can't believe that!" Allie gushed as we sat in Art that afternoon
"Why not? I think we all know that after Hayden I've learnt to not take anyone's shit" I laughed
One of the upsides to my relationship with Hayden is it helped me grow in the aspect that I know what not to do and what to do in certain situations 
Like when there are secrets. There shouldn't be 

"But it's completely over?" She asked and I shrugged
"I mean I told him I wasn't going running back but I also said that until he grows up he's single so I don't really know where I stand" I laughed making her roll her eyes

"What are you going to do now?" Allie asked making me look at her confused
"What do you mean?" I asked in return
"I mean are you gonna find someone else, stay single? what?" She asked and I chuckled
"If that's your way of asking if I'm going back to Hayden then the answer is we are just friends A" I explained but she rolled her eyes
"I've seen how friends looks at each other and those glances you two share, are not friendly eyesss" She sung

It wasn't long until school was over and we were all heading to the Park together, it was the first time that Cassidy and Lucie were joining us at the park. Guess the guys really valued this spot being ours
"Alright so I'll ride with Allie obviously" Jason said throwing his arm around his girlfriend
"I'll be with Cass" Nathan said coping Jason' actions
I looked over at Hayden who smiled nodding at me"
"I'll take Bry" He said coming over to stand next to me
"Who's car do you want to do in Lucie?" I asked 

She looked at all the 3 pairs in front of her before turning to Hayden and I
"Well how about I take the pair that aren't going to make me third wheel?" She laughed making everyone else join in
"Good choice" I said smiling at her 

I couldn't wait to be able to get to know Lucie and Cassidy a bit better, I mean I know Cass a fair amount from what Nathan has told us but it'll be nice to finally get to know them on a more personal level 

We all started to walk to the cars when someone clocked all of our gazes. I rolled my eyes to see Josh heading over with his gang of idiots behind him
"Give me a sec" I said making them all nod standing still as I approached the ground
"i'm not hear to talk to you." He growled making me roll my eyes putting my arm out to stop him 

He looked down at me with a look of disbelief on his face
"What are you going to do? Cause yet another problem because your so up in your head about this" I asked making him look at me 
"I bet you had something to do with this" I said pointing to Max
Josh turned around to look at him before looking at me a little confused

"Maybe before you judge who I am friends with, you should really take a good look at who you are friends with Josh" I said keeping my eyes on Max
"What am I missing?" Josh asked but Max shook his head 

"Oh really? what about the fact that you took me on a date only to royally fuck that up" I asked
"mm only to then harass me when I found someone who knew what a first date was" I said making Max roll his eyes
"Is that true?" Josh asked looking at me then to Max
"Nah" Max said making me roll my eyes

"Josh, when i met you.. I didn't peg you as this guy so please I'm asking you take one long hard look at yourself before you become that guy" I whispered 
I had grabbed his gaze again and his big brown eyes were searching mine 

With a subtle smile he nodded quickly turning on his heel and leaving with his boys in tow
