The Aftermath

Chapter Seven

We all got to the Park and honestly it felt so surreal being back here. The last time we were all here was the night before I left and I had no idea
"Allie don't cry" Nathan said looking over to see her pouting
"What's wrong" I laughed
"Last time we were here we were saying goodbye" She said making me smile resting my head against hers

"But were we really?" Jason asked making Allie shot him a glare
"He's right A, I had no idea I was going at that point" I said before looking to Hayden who held his hands up in surrender

"If I had told you that you were going, let's be honest you would not have gone" He said and I nodded agreeing 
"But did you need to be so savage about it?" Nathan asked making Cassidy and Lucie look at him confused
"What did you do?" Cass asked
"Yeah I'm curious too" Lucie said

"He dumped her at the airport!" Allie yelled making both girls gasp, Hayden rolled his eyes
"Bry, would you have gone if we were still in a relationship?" He asked and I shook my head
"No, I don't think I would have" I said and he pointed to me 
"HA!" He exclaimed making everyone laugh

The evening was rushing away from us but I don't think any of us had any other plans so none of us really wanted to escape yet. 
I'd learnt a lot about Cassidy and Lucie. They are both amazing girls and I think they will fit in perfectly well with us to the point Jason added them to our group chat

"Did you all accomplish your goals for Summer?" I asked and everyone nodded
"So did you B" Nathan said making me look at him confused
"Oh yeah!" Hayden said chiming in
"You wanted to spend as much time out of the house as possible and I mean you spent the entire summer in Italy!" Nathan said making me chuckle

"I guess that is true" I smiled
"how was that? being in Italy all summer?" Lucie asked making me smile wider
"I loved it, it was amazing learning some new things while also exploring this beautiful city" I said 
"Would you ever do it again?" Cass asked but I shook my head

"I think it was a good one summer thing, it was a brilliant experience but I've had my shot now it's someone elses turn" I smiled
"Plus she needs a Allie summer next summer" Allie said interlinking her hands 

"when we got into a relationship I didn't realise I would have to share this much. It was never like this at the beginning" Jason whined making us all laugh
"Well at the beginning little miss was a bit preoccupied" Allie said wriggling her eye brows at Hayden
"Hayden man, why are you doing this to me" Jason said making us all burst out laughing again

I looked over at Lucie to see her smiling in my direction before fiddling with her fingers
"You two were quite the package then?" Cassidy asked and Hayden nodded looking over at me
"you know in History Maya was telling you about this declaration of love in her English last year?" Nathan asked making Cassidy and Lucie nod
"Guilty" Hayden said with a light chuckle

"I never got to read yours" Hayden said poking my side, I narrowed my eyes at him
"Sucks to be you. It made me cryyy" Allie said making Hayden gasp looking at me
"She got to read it but I didn't?" He asked and I nodded
"And now we aren't together so you'll never see it" I teased
"What a shame" Allie said joining in on the tease 

"I want to read it" He whined but I shook my head 
"And I want a lot of things" I said 

"But we don't always get what we want now do we" I said tapping his nose
