The Aftermath

Chapter Ten

The rest of the night was spent at the cabin until Hayden dropped my home, I would have offered to let him stay but let's not rush things too fast alright?

"She looks like she is dead" a voice said making me groan turning over
"She sounds like she is fucking possessed" Jason said, I opened my eyes to see both Jason and Nathan at the side of my bed
"If you don't give me a good reason as to why tf you are in my room. I'll bite" I warned them making them all widen their eyes before looking behind me

I sat up slightly turning to see Hayden sat on the other side of the bed trying to hold in his laughter
"You" I said making him look at me with a smirk
"Me" He said pecking my lips 

"Woahhhh! What?" Nathan said pointing at the pair of us
"Since when?" Jason gasped making me roll my eyes placing a pillow over my head
"Boys, lets let Bry wake up shall we?" Hayden said making me look up and smile in his direction
"We'll be downstairs making breakfast" He said kissing me again 
"Oooo does that mean you'll cook you-" I started before Hayden nodded
"Yes Bry, I'll cook you eggs" he said pushing twiddle dumb and twiddle dee out of my bedroom

After eventually dragging myself out of bed, I headed downstairs to see all the girls in the kitchen with the boys talking about something
"and she has risen!" Allie said jumping onto me as soon as I was close to her
"hey Al" I smiled hugging her back
"Can you give us some intel" Cass said making me raise a brow at her as I walked over to Hayden to check on the eggs

"Micromanage me Bry and I won't do it" He warned me pointing the spatula at me
"Girls why don't you take Bryony outside while we question Hayden" Jason said unwrapping his arms from Allie as the girls nodded practically dragging me outside

"but my eggsssss" I whined making all of them roll their eyes 

The girls and I sat down on the patio furniture Dad had bought recently, it was his sort of treat for himself I guess but hey I'm not one to complain
"So!" Lucie said making me look at them still  just as confused
"What's up" I asked
"You and Hayden? You guys are an item again?" Cassidy asked making me bite my lip slightly before nodding 

"How? When? What?" Allie gushed shaking out interlocked hands
"Yesterday, at the cabin. He was rambling how Hayden does and I don't know, one thing lead to another" I said making Allie smile

"Halleluiah my babies are back together! But if that boy pulls any shit like last year, I'll have his balls on the washing line" She said making me hold my hands up in surrender
"So you're over Josh just like that?" Lucie asked and honestly she had a good point, I did just essentially relationship hop..

"I mean, Josh and I were a weird scenario. When I met Josh, I thought that he and I would be good friends but he flipped that instantly pulling me into a relationship and I was so heartbroken over the whole Hayden situation" I started

"That Josh was what you needed in the attempt to cope?" Cass asked and I nodded

Now in no way does that mean I hate Josh or that I regret him. That boy has taught me a lot, a lot that I need to thank him for but I don't think he was ever meant to be a main character in this story let's be honest

 "Andddd your eggs" Hayden smiled coming over with my food, he leant down gently pressing his lips against mine making me smile even more

Things were finally falling into place again
