Arthur Leywin Pov

I was currently with Jasmine walking through the streets of Xyrus city towards the academy. After Lilia awakened, I volunteered to test her and teach her some basics of mana manipulation.

Since I already knew she was a conjurer, things went on easily. I taught her some basics of mana manipulation for conjurers. After a week of Lilia's awakening, Ellie also awakened, so I spent another week at home training her.

Jasmine and I arrived at Xyrus academy. As we stepped in front of the gates. The guards stopped us, asking for our reasons to get into the academy. I had my mask on, so it made us look suspicious.

Before I could speak anything, a familiar owl came and sat on my shoulder. It was Avier, Cynthia's bond. Seeing Avier on my shoulder answered everything for the guards as they stepped aside to let us pass.

Jasmine decided to wait at the adventurer's guild hall. If they found us, two human, with the elven princess, it will raise a lot of unwanted eyes since Jasmine's identity is not hidden. Some sharp minds might even connect the identity of note to me. It's better if we do not leave any loose ends.

Sylvie sat on the other side of my shoulder and she kyued at Avier as she was communicating with him. She also could talk with him last time but I was still curious how it was possible.

'We can talk with each other since we are of the same kind.' Sylvie answered by reading my thoughts.

'What do you mean?' I asked in a confused tone.

'He is a wyvern. Though they are of lesser species than us dragons, wyverns are still dragons descendants.' Sylvie answered.

I was taken aback by this. I knew for a fact that Avier was not a regular mana beast, but to think he was actually a wyvern and I could tell that he was a strong one at that.

I turned towards Avier to see he was looking at me. After a few minutes, he gave me what looked like a nod and then guided us towards the director's office, flying off my shoulder.

'He respects you. He probably sensed your dragon body, so he has recognized you as superior to him,' Sylvie chirped. 'Should I order him to stay silent about it?'

'I don't think that will be necessary. If he can tell from a glance that we are dragons, he most probably knew that last time, too. So the most he would do is tell Cynthia, and she also hid that fact. It also helps us since she will know how special we are.' I completed, with a smirk on my face.

When Cynthia learned Sylvie was a dragon when I told her in the prison. I didn't get quite the reaction I was expecting. It made sense now since Avier knew he probably told Cynthia about us long ago, so if Cynthia even learns about my draconic body, it would help me gain her trust and cooperation.

While we were walking through the campus, we got curious looks from students on our way, but we ignored them and kept walking towards the director's office. We soon arrived at the director's office. As we reached the door, I knocked on it.

"Come in!" I heard Cynthia's voice from the other side.

Opening the door, I walked inside the office to see Cynthia looking at some papers. As her eyes fell on me, a kind, grandmotherly smile formed on her face. She kept the pile aside and gestured towards the couches in her office.

"S-Class adventurer note, welcome to my humble academy. How may I help you?" She asked in a teasing tone. I could feel her staring into me, trying to examine my core.

I rolled my eyes as I removed my mask and sat on the couch.

"Good to see you again too, Director Goodsky." I greeted her with a smile.
