Nandini lost in thoughts saw cabir coming, "Bhai.... Aap itne jaldi wapas aye .. Manik se nahi mile kya? Woh kaisa hai?"

Cabir looked at her sadly he knew she is suffering, "He is fine Nandu.... Sab naraz hai... Par they are not ignoring him.... Sachu kahe... Toh I am feeling jealous of Manik!"

"What are you saying bhai?" She asked in shocked tone

"Joh pyaar uske bhai karte haina... woh anmol hai nandu..... Arjun sir is not only his brother.... He is Manik's father in all sense. And as friends we never gave a thought how he stayed away from them... Kitna takleef hua hoga... Par hume kabi nazar nahi aya.... Khaash humse itna pyaar karne wale koi hota!" He replied feeling guilt as he never noticed the pain of Manik.

Nandini nodded, "Manik is very lucky bhai... He deserve all the happiness!"

Cabir stared at her, "Then why do you hurt him nandu? Kyu kiya aisa?"

Nandini looking at him, " Bhai.... Mei usse bahut pyaar karti huh .. humesha karungi.... But... I don't want him to choose bhai...!"

"Kya bol rahi hoh?" He frowned.

"Truth bhai.... Manik respects his brothers a lot n he wouldn't go against them. Mei nahi chahti... Kahi... Mere wajah unke beech darar ajaye..... I don't want him to stand in such place where he has to choose between me n his brothers..." She mumbled.

"Pagal bangai kya ... How did you come up with this?" He scowled.

"Bhai... I know his brothers would not accept me after all this ... Aur I don't want Manik to get hurt ... Issliye I readily agreed for Arjun sir demand! Manik is already miffed at me... N this would add on to that.... I saw him Bhai, how he was holding himself feeling guilt for even talking to me as Abhi bhai don't want it.  Hum sab ke wajah se he has suffered a lot .... Ab nahi bhai..... I want him to be happy.... Apne bhaion ke saath.... N watching him smile I will be happy." She mumbled looking down as leaving him is not easy.

Cabir looked at her, "Uskeliye tu bi important hai nandu... And you broke his heart... Ek baar sochte... Itne badi khadam lene se...... Tum hih toh kehti na joh hai dono ka hai.... Then what happened of humesha forever!"

She looked down with tears... Understanding her pain he hugged consoling her.

Otherside, Abhi going on rounds saw Avni running after a patient...along with ward boys.

He looked horrified as the patient pushed her, "Avni!" N rushed near her...saw blood oozing out, "Avni... Tum theek hoh!"

She nodded, "Woh.. patient!" She pointed out. Abhi saw the wardboys restraining him, "Take him to his ward n inform Dr Veer about it!" He ordered n looked at her with concern.

"Chalo... Mei dressing kar deta huh!" He held her shoulders. With a nod she took a step felt dizziness. Watching ..Abhi lifted her in arms n carried to his cabin. Avni feeling light in head caught his shirt leaning on to him.

Her proximity made Abhi heart jolt, as he couldn't forget the emotions she could bring in him. Gently helping her on bed he took the cotton with antiseptic n cleaned her wound....felt his heart prick at her hisses.

While he was doing his duty Avni stared at him without blinking her eye, she knew he loves her but built a wall around not allowing her inside. Abhi dressing her wound, "Tum theek hoh?"
