So, I used to roleplay with a friend and when ever our character would confess they were pregnant to their partner. It was really sweet and wholesome. So I decided to write this!

Y/n's Pov

I pace in our room me and Enki shared. He was at work so I wasn't worried about him walking in. I also worked at Nanba so we were able to live together.

My mind was racing on what I should do. I wasn't sure what I do in this situation. I never thought I would be out in this situation. I never planned to have my own kids. Though I did want kids, I wasn't sure about Enki though. We didn't talk about having them yet.

Should I tell him? Well I have to, how should I? When should I? How would he react? Will he leave me? What do I do?

I was so worried. I had already called Momoko for some time off. I explained to her what had happened and she gave me enough time. Until the pregnancy started affecting me enough to get in the way of work. I had to work. Speaking of work, it's almost time for my shift.

I grab my uniform and put it on. My mind still racing of what I should do. As I walk out, I grabbed my bag that was beside the door. I quickly head to building 5 to get started on work.

Of course, I ran into Enki often throughout the day. I would say I hid my nervousness well but I knew he knew me too well. He's always been able to see straight through my acting. I was surprised he never questioned it though. I was kinda glad he didn't question it. I still wasn't ready to tell him.

Once my shift is over, I clock out. I begin to my place. I felt my phone buzz and I look at it. It was a text from Enki. I open it and read it.

'We need to talk when you get home.'

I stare at it for a second as I stopped walking. I grew more nervous. I sent a 'Okay' to him. I put my phone in my pocket. I had just made it outside building 5. I turn to it, debating if I should work over time. I decided not to and head home. Once I got to my door, I hesitate before I open the door.

I walk in and shut the door behind me. I saw Enki in the living room. I stood there for a second, he didn't say anything. Hoping he forgot, I try to sneak to our room. "I believe I found something I wasn't supposed to just yet." He spoke making me stop.

"What..what did you find?" I look at him and he holds up the pregnancy test. My eyes widen and my breath grew heavy. "No..no you weren't supposed to find that yet.." I say, barely above a whisper. I watch him stand and turn to me.

"Enki, I'm sorry- I was trying to figure things out, I-" Before I could finish, he kneels in front of me and hugs me. I stare at him for a second then hug him back. I felt tears prick my eyes, mostly because I was happy he didn't leave me.

"I love you and I will love them too." He tells me then pulls away, putting a hand on my cheek. "Was this the reason why you were so off today?" He questioned me and I look down. I nod a bit. I felt him kiss my head and I look at him. "No need to worry, I will always be here for you." He tells me. I smile and hug him as I kissed him.

He wraps his arms around me as he kissed back.

I had gone to the doctor for my yearly checkup. When I left, I found out that I was pregnant. I should have seen this coming but it still shocked me. I didn't know what to tell Samon. I mean, he's wanted kids for a while but I don't know if he wants them now.
