Introduction

Marek POV:

Location: England

I was gently waken up by Cerberus as we began to land. After hours of travel we arrived in England at a private airport. I was first off the plane seeing as most of my belonging were on my back. Ash and Harry stepped out next and pointed me to the landed helicopter.

*Timeskip 1 hour*

Location: Hereford Base

Ash and Harry stepped out first.

Harry: Welcome to my humble aboad. Eliza if you can please give him a tour of the base and when you are done we will meet at my office.

Harry walked off and Ash gestures for me to follow. As we walked through the halls most people we passed gave me strange looks while others gave nice comments on Cerberus.

Ash: These double doors here lead to the cafeteria. The layout is a diamond shape so when you walk in, there is the serving stations on the right and left aswell as the stage dead ahead. There are individual booths for groups of 8 people.

We continue on until we reach the armory and workshop.

Ash: The armory is the armory, your assigned a room and given a keyboard. The workshop is here incase modification is needed to weapons or gadgets. Mira is in charge of this place by herself so don't cause to much trouble.

We walking a while until she suddenly stops.

Ash: This is the gym, installed with an indoor track, fighting ring and pool. Make sure you watch out for Zofia, she's a kicker in the ring.

I stopped dead in my tracks.

Ash: What the matter?

Zofia? No it can't be her, what are the chances. I gestured for her to continue which she did but gave me a weird look.

Ash: The medbay is right here, it's operated by doc and finka. Don't piss them off cause they are the 2 that usually deal with us when injured.

I nodded and we continued walking.

Ash: These are the dorms, when the introduction has ended Harry will hand you the key card and you can drop your stuff at the armory. Look at the card and it should tell you what armory number and what room number on it.

I nodded and continued to walk with her. I hope I'm not bunking with anyone. After a minute we reach Harry's office and see a man in a doctor's uniform.

Harry: Hello! Are you all finished with the tour?

Ash: Yeah I dragged him around base and kept it brief with the info.

Harry: Very well! Ah and I would like you to meet Gustave.

I extend my hand and he takes it without hesitancy.

Doc: As Harry has said I am Gustave but you can call me Doc on the field. I'm here to help translate everything considering your condition.

I excitedly signed "Finally, thank you so much"

Doc: No problem my friend.

Harry: Great, now let's move to stage and introduce everyone to you. I'm sure your sisters will be glad to see you.

I froze for a moment.

Ash: Is everything ok?

I signed to Gustave and told him "No, I do not want my sisters to know im here". Doc translated.

Harry: Why is that?

I translated "First off I did not know, second off I cut connection with them and my father about 12 years. Family issues, I prefer they do not know who I am. They were last people I wanted to see". Doc translated and they all looked surprised.

Harry: I understand but I believe they will find out eventually. Whatever problems you had, they need to be resolved.

I signed "Promise me you will all keep this a secret until I am ready then". Doc translated

Harry: I promise

Doc: Agreed

Ash looked hesitant

Ash: Fine

Harry: Now that is taken care of shall we go introduce everyone to you?

I signed "I request you hide my name, DOB and bio. My military history, nickname, loadout, outfit, and age are up to you." Doc translated

Harry: Very well. *Over PA system* ALL OPERATORS PLEASE REPORT TO THE CAFETERIA.

Harry: Shall we?

We walked out of the office and went to the stage. As I got my gear and Cerberus ready we hear multiple footsteps and voices outside the cafeteria. The double doors then bursts open and flooded with people.

Harry: Everyone calm down, this is no way to welcome our new operator.

The room fell silent as all eyes tracked onto me.

Harry: You and Gustave now have the floor.

I nodded then slung my gun around my back and began signing to Doc "Hello, my codename is Hades and this fluffbal is Cerberus. I have worked for GROM about 12 years before accepting Harry's invitation here. I look forward to working with you all. Any questions?" Doc translated then someone raised their hand.

Doc: Yes?

BlackBeard: Why use sign language?

I signed "Vocal cords crushed" Doc translated.

Another raised their hand.

Finka: The dog?

I signed "My partner, trained him personally for any situation". Doc translated

Thatcher: How do you communicate with him?

I signed "Signals, taps and snapping my fingers." Doc translated

One more hand raised and when I recognized her I swelled with anger.

Ela: How much for the dog?

I grabbed by AR and chambered the round. This got a chuckle out of some of the operators.

Harry: Alright alright that's enough. The introduction is over, his file will be sent to you all shortly.

Harry gave me the keycard and left to his office. I moved past the operators and exited the cafeteria to store my guns and move to my dorm.
