Maria shrieked in shock when she found out that her friends were still at the school. The director sighed, burying his face into his palm as he leaned on the table
"You said they will be here soon!"
"Don't shout at me. They willingly decided to stay there when the students weren't rescued"
"Why won't the students got rescued?"
Maria asked with furrowed brows, stepping closer to his desk
"They just discovered something. I don't know what it is but the quarantine's procedure will change soon. Even if they got rescued, they won't be here anytime soon. They will be excluded by the quarantine's new procedure, but it will still take a long time to come back here"
"But still, they'd be safe there at least"
"You should get some days off, Maria. I will inform you anything regarding your friends if I got some news. Go"
The girl sighed sharply, storming out and slamming the door shut. She didn't care if she'll get a scold from her behavior, all she cared for is her friends. She bit her lower lip, deciding to follow what her director said earlier
"Maybe I do need some times off"
She muttered, running her hand through her hair. She's sure that they will get out of there safely, she knew that they're capable of that
All she can do now is pray for them
