The zombie launched on top of him, biting on his shoulder making him yelled in pain. Cha-young was lost at words, her hands gripping on his arms, watching it all happen with her eyes
"Mr. Lee!"
Cheong-san yelled, grabbing the shovel as he tried to pry the infected off from him. The others quickly helped, but the infected was big and strong, making it hard to do so
"Jae-hyun"
Cha-young breathed out, looking into his eyes as he formed a smile amidst the pain
"Don't worry. You'll be okay"
He whispered, shutting his eyes when the infected bit deep into his shoulder. Blood splattered on her face, as she remained frozen on the ground. She couldn't believe anything that was happening
She prayed for it to be a nightmare, again
Mi-jin stepped forward, raising the sharp stick that she had made and brought throughout the journey, stabbing the zombie with a yell
"Get off of him!"
She yelled, stabbing him again as Nam-ra stepped in, pulling the infected away and cracked his neck, killing him. Cha-young could feel tears brimming on the corner of her eyes, getting up as she quickly hugged him as if her life depended on him
"Cha-young"
He breathed out, coughing as she held her sob in
"I'm sorry"
"Don't say anything. Why did you... Why did you do that? You could've just push me away and run. Why did you have to do that?"
She said, her voice cracking at the end because of her tears. He slowly pulled away from the hug, connecting their forehead once again as she closed her eyes
"Don't leave me. You promised me"
She said, whispering at the end as he held in his sob as well. The others stood frozen on their spots, tears falling down their cheeks. Both Chang-min and him were their saviors, and Cha-young is the only one left
