They were climbing the mountain, suddenly yelling in shock when an explosion could be heard from the school. Cha-young crouched down, holding Hyo-rung in her arms as Jae-hyun protected both of them with his body

The smoke engulfed them, the pressure throwing them off to another spot painfully

Cha-young slowly opened her eyes, looking around while coughing because of the smoke. All of them had gone unconscious until night arrived

Jae-hyun was laying a few steps from her, and inside her arms were Hyo-rung. She carefully lifted her arm from the girl's head and stood up, running towards the man as she shake his body softly

"Jae-hyun"

The man slowly opened his eyes, groaning in pain as all of the students had woken up as well. All of them started to help each other, Cha-young holding out her hand for him to take

The students looked at their now burned and destroyed school, memories of their lives there flashed before their eyes

"Oh no"

Mi-jin muttered, looking back at Hyo-rung and to the school. All of them fell silent

"Take some rest first"

Jae-hyun announced, going to Dae-su who had an injury on his leg. Cha-young sat down on the tree, leaning her back on it with a sigh. The memory of her brother resurfaced again, and she forcefully blocked it off by thinking about something else. She hummed a song, closing her eyes to distract herself from breaking down

"Cha-young"

She opened her eyes, looking at Jae-hyun who had knelt in front of her. She didn't say anything, and let herself getting hugged by him. Tears started to fall from her eyes as she cried to his chest

"It's okay. Let it all out"

He whispered, caressing her hair as she called for her brother quietly, resenting him for leaving her alone

"I hate him"

She choked out, crying as the students observed them from behind. None of them said a word, and let the woman grief in silence
