Starting a New Life in the Re: Zero World

Chapter 5

Somewhere in Arlam Forest
2 Days Later, Nighttime

"So this is it? This is were our target is living?" a cloaked man asked

"I suppose so. At least that is what our leader told us." a cloaked woman replied

"So when are we gonna start?" the same man asked again

"Soon. But right now, we need to be cautious as well as prepare. I heard that our target here is... quite Dangerous." a different cloaked man said

"... I see." the same cloaked woman as before said

As they were talking, they then suddenly hear a loud scream from one of there subordinates.

"Hold on, was that Hans that we just heard?! What's going on there?" another cloaked woman questioned

The scream from this Hans kept on going until they started hearing dog noises.

"... Was that a MaBeast that I just heard?" another cloaked man questioned

"It seems so. It seems like our leader's decision to send many of us to kill just one target wasn't actually a dumb idea after all. Because it seems like we will be fighting more than just one person." a cloaked old woman said

"We should probably check out what's going on there." a cloaked old man suggested

"Yeah, let's go!" the same cloaked man who seemed to be the squad leader declared

The group of cloaked figures then arrive on the location of the scream. What they saw was the supposed Hans lay down on the ground with many of his body parts missing as well as being full of dog scratches.

"... Hans is..." a cloaked man said shocked

"... Seems like we will have to be more careful for no-" another cloaked man was then interrupted by a group of Dog looking MaBeasts that were heading on there location

"What the?! Aaahhhhh!" the poor man was then attacked by 8 of the Dog MaBeasts all at once

As the fight begun, the cloaked figures were immediately gaining the upper hand as they were now able to prepare themselves for the upcoming skirmish. Many of the dogs were easily killed by them, and this resulted on more of the MaBeasts coming towards them.

Luckily for the cloaked figures, back up came and now they were able to deal with the Dog MaBeasts. Many of the Dog MaBeasts then retreated in order to preserve there numbers. The others that didn't make it were killed or heavily injured.

"... What the hell was that?" one of the back ups questioned

"Beats me. Those MaBeasts were really unexpected. Why do I have this feeling that those things... are actually being controlled by someone?" one of the cloaked figures questioned

"Maybe because it's really the truth? I don't know. But I do know however that there are some people who possess Divine Protections or Authorities that let's them have full control over Animals and MaBeasts. And if our target has that ability, then we should be careful." the head of the back up spoke

"Your right. Like, who knows what other MaBeasts this person might posses. We really need to be more wise with our actions here." one of them said

"Yeah. Anyways, let's continue with our task. We must not fail on this unless you want our Archbishop to choke you to Death." the head said

As this was happening, a certain blue haired kid holding her so called 'puppy' was looking at the cloaked figures above a cliff unnoticed with a worried look.
