My Alpha Mate

°▪CHAPTER THREE▪°

"Sorry Mrs. Collins " I was held up by some work I heard. I didn't look up because I was too busy trying to understand the topic.

"It's ok Mr. Redmond". I heard Mrs. Collins say. I look around to see that some people were bowing, I went back to writing notes. After I few seconds I felt a presence near me. I look up to see the most captive blue eyes ever. "Hi" he said, "hi" I replied slyly, gotta keep up the act. Though I must say he was quite handsome. I continued taking notes, "Are you new I have never seen you around ?" he asked "yeah" my reply came. I look up again only to be trapped in his beautiful blue abyss. I take a good look at him. With that defined jawline, fluffy hair, and beautiful light blue eyes I am pretty sure he has a lot of girls after him.
I think he is a senior, I don't know what it was but I felt I pull towards him, like I wanted to be in his arms, probably some stupid crush. haven't even been a full day and I am already falling for a guy, for me, that is quite unusual. "What's your name ?" he asked "Estella" I said, since we were secret agents I had a lot of fake names. "Yours?" I asked , "Alaric" he replied. After the lecture, After I got out of the class a girl came to me and said "you're new here huh" . "Is it that obvious?" I asked.

"When you're talking to him yeah" she said. "What's wrong with him ?" I asked. "Well, let's just say he is not the nicest person" she said. "He was nice to me" I said, "That's the weird thing" she answered. "Anyway", I started trying to change the topic, "what's your name" I asked.

Roxy she said. "What's yours?" "Estella" I said. "Can I see your schedule ?" she asked, "yeah sure" I said, "Yay! we have all other classes together except the last two," she said. "Nice" I replied.

We went to the next class, after the class when we were packing Roxy asked me if I want to get lunch and I said yes.

We went to the cafeteria, I was going to get my lunch when I saw a red laser point on Alaric, I quickly looked where the laser was coming from to find a shadow of a guy, I grabbed some trays that were next to me and jumped towards him right in time to save him
The bullet went through 3 trays but was stopped by the 4th one.
"What the hell" Alaric jumped up and said "how did you do that" came from another guy that was near I am guessing is Alaric's friend
I just shrugged and said "I don't know, I just saw a red laser point" on Alaric. The three guys just looked at each other as though they were having a silent conversation after that Alaric spoke "thank you "

"Welcome I guess" I said, then a voice came over the speakers "Everybody please stay calm we have called the authorities and they will be taking the necessary actions for now the institute will be closed until further notice."
"So much for the first day" I mumbled, I grabbed my things and got in my car I started to drive and put on some music, I was enjoying it a bit but then a call came.

"Sup Lucas" I said "thank god for your okay, I was worried." Lucas said
"You heard what happened." I said "Yep so do you know who did it?" Lucas asked
"I don't know but I have an idea who" I replied

"who?" Asked Lucas "Him" I answered
"what's makes you say that?" Asked Lucas "you see I talked to the guy that almost died and by the shadow's height and figure I am pretty sure." I answered "mmm okay, and by the way, we have band work tomorrow night" said lucas
"where?" I asked "some guy's 23rd birthday celebration." Said lucas
"ooo okay, see you back at home." I replied "mmm." Lucas hummed
I ended the call I also forgot to mention that I work in a band we all (me and my brothers) started singing at a bar for fun and so we could say we had a normal job. At the bar somebody recorded us and it went viral so we decided we would be a private band. We are called for parties. I got home, came inside, and greeted Tyler then I went to my room did some work on which songs people suggested and put it into a list, and sent it to Lucas. "Hey, time for dinner" came Shane's voice "coming" I yelled. I went downstairs and went to the kitchen "so what for dinner" I piped "spaghetti" said Nate "yes please" I said "Lucas I have sent you the list of songs for tomorrow."  "Okay" said Lucas
"So tell us about what happened at college" asked Tyler while we were setting the table. "Oh well, I was getting lunch when I noticed a laser point on a guy, I immediately grabbed some trays and stopped the bullet."
"Nice" Nate said that earned a slap on the back of his head by Lucas. "Did someone suspect anything " Lucas asked, "No I don't think so." I answered.  We ate and discussed tomorrow's rehearsal. I went up to my room, got ready for the night, and tried to go to sleep but someone occupied my mind

I fell asleep thinking about him.
