𝐑𝐔𝐄𝐖𝐀𝐒𝐒𝐓𝐀𝐍𝐃𝐈𝐍𝐆𝐁𝐄𝐓𝐖𝐄𝐄𝐍big red and ej, the latter leaving a few inches between himself and the girl. it was after school rehearsal and mostly everyone was in athletic wear since there would be a lot of movement. rue had her hair in two french braids, wearing a pair of sweats and a hoodie that she stole from ricky. carlos had informed everyone that they were starting with the curtain call, which made sense. it was the biggest number and took the longest to learn. it was also harder to learn than most of the other dances.
"i'm kinda lost. if the play's over, why would we still be dancing?" ricky questioned, making his sister release a huff.
you would really think he would pick up on some things since his sister is a musical geek.
"it's a curtain call." carlos simply answered. "you're the last two to come out. we want to bring the audience to their feet."
"teach them the dance." ricky mumbled.
"carlos? can we just wait until miss jenn gets here?" nini quizzed, obviously frustrated with how many questions ricky was asking.
"miss jenn is busy hunting down a prop. she's asked me to create a crescendo, people. so let's stop swirling and start twirling." carlos answered, letting out a chuckle at the end.
