𝐈𝐓 𝐖𝐀𝐒 𝐍𝐎𝐖 𝐒𝐏𝐑𝐈𝐍𝐆 𝐁𝐑𝐄𝐀𝐊 𝐅𝐎𝐑 𝐓𝐇𝐄 wild cats, and rue was laying on her bed patiently waiting for the time to come when the drama club was gonna zoom. ricky was in chicago for spring break, rue deciding not to go because she didn't want to leave her father by himself the whole week. the real reason was because she hadn't really talked to her mother since opening night, and she knew that it was gonna be extremely fucking awkward. she hadn't heard from her brother since he had gotten to their mother's apartment, only texting to let her know that he had arrived. he must've turned his phone off. it's been really hard since him and nini broke up. she would've been hanging out with gina, but the porter girl was going to louisiana for the break to see her mom. rue sat up when she heard her phone ring, knowing that someone was texting her. she grabbed her phone to see that it was nini reminding her that they had to join miss jenn's zoom call.
rue quickly texted back an okay before she got up from her bed and went over to her desk. she opened up her laptop and went to the email, clicking onto miss jenn's. she then clicked onto the link that was attached, patiently waiting for zoom app to open up. when she had finally joined the call, seeing that everyone besides ricky and gina were on the call. "oh, my god. i missed seeing your faces."
