𝐓𝐇𝐄 𝐄𝐍𝐓𝐈𝐑𝐄𝐓𝐘 𝐎𝐅 𝐄𝐀𝐒𝐓 𝐇𝐈𝐆𝐇 was sat on the bleachers that faced the football field. there was a whole stage at edge of the field, cheerleaders being right in front of it while the mascot ran around and hyped the crowd up. rue was sat between remy and ashlyn, not exactly sure why they were there. rue looked up on the stage, two small curtains behind hung up with someone being on the other side. she tilted her head at that, wanting to know who it was and why it was a big deal for them to be covered. rue turned to looked at remy, who was not paying attention to what was going on around him. rue then turned to look at ashlyn, who was texting maddox on her phone. rue smiled at that, leaning forward slightly so that she could look at gina. the porter girl looked back, the both of them sharing a knowing look.
"good morning. good morning." the voice of principal gutierrez appeared, making the two girls turn to the stage. "all right, listen up. listen up, everybody. settle down. it's hard to believe it's the start of another year here at east high."
"let's go, seniors!" ricky yelled out, followed by kourtney yelling as well. the rest of the senior class joined in, clapping and cheering.
"this year, we have a special announcement. ooh. something that's gonna impact all of us that are still here at east. so, i want you to welcome, and i'm obligated to say this phrase, the og coach bolton." principal gutierrez announced.
