𝐈𝐓 𝐖𝐀𝐒 𝐎𝐏𝐄𝐍𝐈𝐍𝐆 𝐍𝐈𝐆𝐇𝐓 𝐅𝐎𝐑 beauty and the beast, and rue was extremely nervous. she was dressed in her cogsworth costume, having clock hands on her face while she was dressed in a brown old fashion coat, a kerchief, and breeches. kourtney had definitely put her all into the costumes. she was doing the finishing touched to her hair, putting it into a braid. everyone was kinda on edge since something happened the week prior. howie had given kourtney some blueprints for beast's transformation, and they had tried it, lifting ricky into the air. but then the rope snapped and the poor boy fell onto ashlyn, spraining both of their wrists.
"are you nervous?" a familiar voice questioned, making rue turn to look at her.
rue smiled when she had seen that it was gina, "is it obvious?"
"i can see the tension in your shoulders from the door, ella." gina joked, sitting down in front of rue. that earned her a chuckle from the older girl, making gina smile. "you have nothing to worry about. you're gonna do great, love."
"i hope so." rue mumbled, sitting back in her seat. that gave her the opportunity to take in gina in her babette costume. "you look beautiful, gi. like, really beautiful."
