𝐑𝐔𝐄 𝐖𝐀𝐒 𝐒𝐓𝐎𝐎𝐃 𝐍𝐄𝐗𝐓 𝐓𝐎 𝐆𝐈𝐍𝐀, 𝐇𝐄𝐑 head on gina's shoulder as she waited for miss jenn to explain why everyone was there. the drama teacher had wanted everyone there way before class started. rue wouldn't get up, so that meant ricky had to literally drag the girl out of bed to make her get up. let's just say that earned him a few slaps to the head and a lot of yelling and cursing. gina looked down at the older girl with a small smile on her face, finding it amusing how rue wasn't a morning person in the slightest. rue hadn't done what she had planned yet, but the two girls had this silent agreement with one another that they were almost going out. key word is almost, but it still counts.
"hi. thank you all for coming to rehearsal in the morning. i know it's a crazy day with the career fair and all, but given all your behavior last week, i believe we are lucky to be rehearsing at all." miss jenn told her students, rue opening her eyes to look at her. "for future reference, singing and dancing, good. breaking and entering, bad."
"miss jenn, we didn't break anything." seb tried to correct.
"would you like me to be the first?" the drama teacher questioned, looking at the boy with raised eyebrows.
