"Your growth has been amazing." My therapist said looking down at her notes.

"You did relapse with the fighting though." She pierced her lips together.

"But emotionally, your stable." She said as i nodded.

"These meetings are no longer needed." She said making my face bright up.

"Finally i can have my tuesday afternoons back." I laughed gathering my things.

After hugging her i left out. I promised myself one thing when i was done with therapy and that was to visit my parents graves.

Driving to the graveyard my emotions were shot.

Once i found there headstones that were right next to each other i sat down between them.

"Y'all don't even know me for real." I shook my head tracing my fingers over the engravings on the headstone.

"But i'm growing up now, i have a family too." I said wiping away a tear that fell.

"I wish i remembered my limited time with y'all. I remember my time with all the bad foster parents though."

"sorry i'm not here for that, i forgive y'all for the decision." I said before getting up and walking away.

I needed to do this for myself and my personal healing, this was the closest i would ever get to talking to them.

    "Oh my god you already eating my stuff." I said walking into our home seeing all of my friends there.

    I sat my keys and purse down taking a seat on the couch.

    "Step said you cant be my girlfriend no more." Heaven pouted onside of me.

    "He always trynna ruin a relationship." I said sticking my middle finger up at him.

     "Tell me bout it." Amari said causing me to side eye him a little.

    "Anywayssss sis, you gone throw down in the kitchen for us." Aaliyah said rubbing her stomach.

    "Thats the important thing you had to ask her." Zavier shook his head at Aaliyah.

     "Pay?" I asked causing her to sigh grabbing her wallet. "What you want?" I asked her.

    "Im thinking fried chicken, rice, and greens." She said and i nodded putting the money in my back pocket.

    After washing my hands i washed my chicken, greens, and rice, for good measures.

    I poured all my seasoning on my chicken and in my flour before coating it on the chicken.

    Putting my oil on the stove. I placed my greens in a pot putting it on the stove.

     After filling up a pot of water i put my rice in turning the stove on for it.

   "Look at you." Amari said coming to stand behind me. "Dont speak to me now, you was quiet in there stay quiet." I said and he sucked his teeth before turning me around.

   "What mari." I said trying to move out of his grip. "You mad cause i didn't say hi to you in there?" He asked and i nodded.

     "Thats my fault." He said wrapping his arms around me and i returned the hug.

    "I miss you." He said pecking my lips a few times.

    "As you should." I laughed and he took his hands off of me.

    "You ruined my moment." He shook his head at me.
