many of times i come to find
that my heart tells me to tell you
the true feelings that bloom inside,
but inside is a being
that decides to pull away
when i try to push the words
that want to escape,
it's a cycle that continues,
a feeling of care and then a feeling of time
where i stand still and feel like
there's someone missing inside,
but the thing is, you know, i know,
we both know,
those words of affirmation
are the ones you want to hear so close,
the ones that will make you
jump in the air with excitement,
but being exiled is the reality i face,
so for the time that you have been waiting,
please continue to wait
with tenderness and care,
as i'm sure we will find our time
where we will find our place somewhere
