to love someone is to see them in the way God intended us to,
Through their past, their present and their future,
To see the presence they have in our lives,
And the impact they have,
Whether positive or negative it is not always their fault,
As the surroundings of their actions determine the actions they take,
Through rage, through fear or loss,
We all act in a way where we cover ourselves and put on a mask,
In a way where we are not ourselves,
But to love someone truly,
Is to be patient, loving and understanding,
through this lifetime we will have challenges, have misunderstandings and have opportunities of growth,
We will cause pain to each other unintentionally throughout our journey of sublime beauty,
So when we do,
Let us converse with one another,
In a way that is profound,
Let us listen deeply,
Without judgement,
Seeking the truth behind each others words,
No matter how difficult it is to express them,
Let us face hardship with hearts open,
Seeking understanding and healing,
Together we can navigate the complexities in life with patience and forgiveness,
And When the lines in life are blurry,
We will work together,
supporting each other to get to the end of the road,
As the grass is greener in where you water it,
And just like that grass,
Let us grow,
Together.
