We met like whispered prayers on a summer breeze,
Two souls entwined, beneath rustling leaves.
Laughter danced light, on every shared glance,
A perfect harmony, a destined chance.
But fate, a fickle friend, with twists unkind,
Led us on separate paths, a love left behind.
Though hearts ached fiercely, with a tearful goodbye,
A silent trust whispered, "We'll meet by and by."
The years unfurled, lessons etched in our souls,
We learned to stand tall, made ourselves whole.

Then, like a sunrise, breaking through the night,

No longer two saplings, but trees weathered and strong,

The love that we shared, matured and refined,

We learned empathy's touch, a hand to uplift,
Together we'll conquer, each struggle, each rift.
Together we'll climb, the luminous stair,
To a world bathed in beauty, beyond compare.
