I'm begging us to remember our agreement. I'm literally writing this book on comments, the motivation I used to fuel myself to write is the comments, the votes, the shares.

Please make this hard work worth the while.

"Daddy?"

Alhaji set down the arm weights he was carrying and turned to look in his daughter's direction.

"Can my punishment end now? I'm well behaved now." Alhaji looked his daughter from her turban covered head to her plush indoor slippered toes.

"No. It's been three weeks and four days. You still have three days left, you should be thankful I did not punish you more." She sighed and came close to him, holding his surprisingly dry arm for more effect.

"Daddy, please. It hurts me too. I've known those friends since primary school and all of a sudden they're putting me in harm's way? I don't know how it feels. They warn you about relationship break-ups but no one warns you about how hard it is to move on from friendship betrayals and breakups.

I am seeing them in a new light and it's hurtful, I dare say that's the biggest punishment here. I still got to work at your home laboratory, I didn't miss out from school but the people I was-" Her father pulled her closer and put his chin atop her head. They had a bond that even divorcing her mother didn't break, instead it pulled them closer even more.

"I understand. I punished you because I believed you'd decide to do better things. I punished you because, you took my invitation, went to the party, clocked in as me and everything. What if you got hurt? How would I explain? Who would I tell?

That's why you're serving this grounding. It's not like I did not see you bring your friend to the house the both of you eating chips and bread, leaving crumbs on my sofas. You should be glad I even let you bring in friends. Enjoy your three day holiday and resume to the main laboratory on Monday." She pulled out of her father's arms and pouted her lips, even allowing tears to sit at her eyelids. Her father didn't take a look, instead, the sound of him lifting the weights filled the room.

"Daddy!" When she called and he didn't respond, she stalked off. Walking away to her room angrily, nearly missing Mama Tas who was bringing a cup of her father's morning smoothie.

As Mama Tas steadied the glass sippy bottle on a flat surface, Alhaji stopped his exercise, wiped his face before asking her if his Polo gamewear has been washed and pressed.

"Yes sir, I even asked them to polish the mallet well. You're wearing a yellow Ralph Lauren polo shirt and chino trousers. They go well together." She stopped talking at the sound of the door, Elijah came in, greeted the both of them and waited for them to finish speaking to one another.

"Sir, I'm afraid..." He visibly swallowed "You won't be playing today. They sent a new Memo from the State security department." Alhaji sent Elijah a glare so cutting, if looks could kill, Elijah would be doubled over on the floor bleeding.

"It's for your safety sir, please let's not fight this one. Being on a horse is a such a risky take, people already know your horse at the polo stable yard, anything can happen, anyone can be bribed." Alhaji sighed and walked to the smoothie Mama Tas set down and took a deep sip.

"I've heard you, ask Mama Tas to put out another outfit for me. Or just leave it and leave me alone, I want to be by myself." Elijah nodded and walked back out the door he came in, Alhaji continued his exercise set while in deep thought.

Before now, no one knew how much of a threat he was. Every vaccine he made was usually a joint work with an organization in the united States, giving him a few billions of dollars in his personal account. It was how he was able to put his pharmaceutical company on a larger scale.
