Adeline Talia Hales wakes up laying in the middle of woods.
The tribrid hadn't even got to watch Allison Argent die before her neck had been magically snapped by her mother.
How did she know it was Josette? Jo was the only other witch in town besides Adeline and the auburn haired woman knew a set hands didn't snap her neck.
Lynn stood up and started walking around. This place looked familiar but it wasn't the preserve. It was the backwoods of New Orleans, where Cole and Rosalie had found her wondering after the fire.
She sighed as she bumped into what she thought was a tree but she backed up a little and upon a closer look she realized it was Rosalie Smith.
Rose smiled at the woman who she considered to be her daughter but noticed something off about her. "Lena what have you done?"
"Mommy dearest!" Adele shouts. "What kind of twisted games are you playing?!"
"Lena this isn't a game... your on the other side. Which leads me to question how and why you're here?"
"I turned off my humanity" she states shamefully.
"And why would you do that" the blonde questions realizing she's breaking through the surface, watching Adeline almost shed a tear.
"You died... and I couldn't handle the pain so I completely shut it off..." she says tears still in her eyes.
"Lena I found peace... come here" she says dragging the tribrid by her arm. They stop at the end of a path and Adi sees a bunch of people she doesn't recognize. "My parents are here... my sister" she states as she notices Daisey Smith staring at her from afar. "My family is here..."
And as those words came out of Rosalie Smith's mouth the switch inside Adeline Talia Hale's head flipped and she broke down into tears.
Rose sighed as she bent down and pulled her daughter figure into her arms "it's okay, Lena. You're gonna be fine."
"It hurts... it hurts so much" she sobs into Rose's shoulder.
