Charlotte's POV

After getting rid of my surprise, I wanted to push him back by placing my hands on his chest, but he wrapped his arm around my waist, pressing me against his body, and deepened the kiss.

I moaned without managing to hold myself when he bit my lower lip. A corner of his lips curled up into a smirk.

"Grandpa is looking at us." He whispered quickly and smashed his lips against mine while I was in daze.

He tightened his grip around me while kissing me feverishly. I couldn't hold myself anymore and responded to his kiss, wrapping my arms around his neck while my traitorous body craved for him. I was on fire. And this man... he knew what he was doing. No doubt he had a lot of experience.

When he pulled back, both of us were out of breath. He cupped my cheeks, looking at me, his gaze dark with desire.

I bit my lower lip and averted my gaze without knowing what to do. I still felt his lips on my lips and my body wanted more.

He cleared his throat, running his hand through his hair, and suggested after holding my hand. "Let's go."

I nodded and we walked towards the green house while I couldn't stop myself from thinking about our kiss.

"Wow!" I exclaimed in amazement as soon as we walked into the greenhouse. "It is so beautiful." I commented in awe while looking at the different unique and beautiful flowers and plants one by one. Moreover, the interior design was fabulous as well.

"Yes, when I was a child, I often came and hid here. It was my sanctuary." Alexis commented, resting his hands in his pockets.

I bit my lower lip, lost in my thoughts while looking around. My mind was on what Alexis told his grandpa about me. Had he really seen me before we were officially introduced to each other? No, probably, he lied.

"By the way, you are a great liar. If I didn't know, I would believe you saw me a few years ago." I commented, folding my arms over my chest, facing the Greek god.

He cleared his throat. "I didn't lie. I really saw you in Mykonos while you were shooting a campaign. The place was my best friend, Markos' hotel. I went to visit him and saw you there." He confessed honestly, his hands in his pockets.

I raised my eyebrow, surprised. I didn't know how to feel. So he remembered me after all these years... But if it was true, then did it mean his feelings...

I bit my lower lip and ruffled my hair, thinking while he kept staring at me. I was dying to ask if he really felt something towards me when he saw me for the first time or not. However, I didn't know if I was ready to hear the answer.

"Umm... Did you..."

"It will be better if we go back. Grandpa doesn't like to wait. Dinner must be ready." Alexis interrupted me as he checked the time on his wristwatch.

I purse my lips together, disappointed and nodded. Maybe, it was a sign that I shouldn't ask him about it. Moreover, if he said this part to convince his grandpa, I would look like a fool. I shouldn't forget why we were here; it was just a game, nothing more.

After dinner, we chatted while drinking coffee. More correctly, Alexis's grandfather was questioning me, asking different questions about my family, our relationship and my future plans; he still looked unconvinced, and I was sure he wouldn't believe us easily.

"Umm... Grandpa, if you don't mind, we would like to rest." Alexis stated firmly, interrupting his grandfather as Elias started asking him questions about our relationship and marriage.
