Valeria was in her mothers room with her younger siblings. "Still no word from father?" She asked as she brushed her younger sisters head. Bela shook her head no. "No. Nothing yet. I hope he got there safely." Her mother made a cross.

Valeria watched this before looking down at the children with a sweet motherly smile. "How about we go outside for fresh air?" She suggested. The two nodded eagerly and ran to get their toys to take out.

Valeria looked at her mother as she stood. "Mother. Please get some rest you look worn. I promise everything will work out in the end. God's will is protecting us." She said. Her mother nodded as she looked to the side out the window from her seat.

Valeria kissed her mothers head before leaving. She told a maid to take the children outside to the fountain and stay there to wait for her. She then looked Irri. "Take me to your Chieftain." She ordered.

Irri bowed in respect and then turned, leading her away to where Bjorn was at. Training with some of his men. Valeria stopped as she saw the bulking men as  they fought and trained together. She couldn't help but bite her lip as her eyes found Bjorn.

"He has never lost a battle." Irri said proudly as she grinned at her princess. Valeria got herself and her thoughts together and looked at Irri. "When will they be finished I wish to speak with him about my family."

Irri looked back at her men practice together. "I am unsure my lady. Sometimes they can go for hours. Our men have very high stamina. And not just for battle my lady." Irri grinned a mischievous grin.

Valeria's cheeks tinted red at her words. She shook her head. "I am not here for that." She said and started making her way to the training ground. Irri's voice called out to her. Telling her to not disturb them. It was dangerous.

But Valeria ignored it and kept going down the hill.

She soon made it to where everyone was, and made her way to where Bjorn was. His men was shocked to see her, and quickly moved out of the way, and one called for him in the language of their ancestors.

Bjorn defeated the warrior he was training with, and stopped to face his future bride. he was angry she interrupted them. But she didn't fully know her place yet. He panted as he went right up to her. He looked down at her.

"Why have you interrupted us?" He demanded, glaring down at her.

"I wished to speak to you. About my family" She looked at the warriors. "Alone." She told him. He huffed and grabbed her wrist before dragging her away from his men. She had to speed up her walking to keep up with his long legged strides.

He took her to a tree, away from the warriors. Giving them some privacy.

He leaned against the tree and crossed his arms. He raised his eye brow at her as he waited for her to start speaking. She couldn't help but take his image in. The man was highly attractive and he knew it for sure.

If this was any other situation, she would swoon about it. But this was a serious situation her oldest brother put her and the rest of the family into.

"My family don't feel safe anymore. They are children. They are innocent. My mother won't leave her rooms in fear. She is scared for her family. I know you are here for revenge and I don't blame you for wanting revenge. But I can't handle my family suffering in fear." She said.

"My younger siblings shouldn't be to terrified to even leave their rooms for a glass of water." She told him as she started pacing as she was letting everything out, and he just watched her with his eyes. Letting her get everything off her chest.
