Immediately, I intervened, taking a step towards General Cham Syndulla. Immediately, all the Twi'lek fighters turned their blasters from Fang, Stak, Razor, Master Windu, and Athena towards me. I immediately raised my hands.

"Whoa, okay, untrustworthy much?" I quipped.

Master Windu shook his head, giving me a warning look. "Artemis."

"I won't hurt him, all right?" I assured them. "I just want to talk."

All the Twi'leks turned towards General Syndulla, who gave them a nod. Immediately, they all lowered their weapons. Syndulla then turned to face me, giving me a nod.

"General Syndulla." I began as I took a step towards him. "We have no doubt you can hold your own against the battle droids as you've demonstrated. However, the Separatists won't give up, their numbers will grow. We can both continue fighting them separately until all our forces have been depleted or we can team up, overwhelming the Separatists, and freeing the planet, your home. We can help push the Separatists out of Ryloth."

Syndulla remained silent, taking my words into consideration. After what felt like a painful hour or so, Syndulla spoke. "What's your name?"

"Artemis Skywalker, General." I informed him.

"Skywalker, eh? That explains." Syndulla replied before turning to look at Master Windu. "Come with us."

What did he mean by that? I let out a relieved sigh, glad that worked. I then turned to face Master Windu with a smug look on my face as I raised my arms. Master Windu shook his head, walking off to join General Syndulla. No doubt he was so done with me. Before we set out, I managed to slip away unnoticed, returning to the destroyed shuttle. Once alone, I took out the holoprojector, answering the call, which turned out to be from Emir Tambor.

"Nyx, you did not join our conversation earlier." Tambor mentioned.

I grimaced. So that's who was contacting me. My heart dropped, believing it was Obi-Wan. Wait, why did I care? I bowed my head, covering my face with my hood. "Forgive me, I had some matters to attend to."

"Understood. We'll let Count Dooku know." Tambor informed me.

My blood ran cold. If he told Dooku, there was a chance, no scratch that, he will tell Sidious about this, and then Sidious would question my loyalty and that's the last thing I wanted or needed right now.

"That's not necessary. I'll tell him myself." I offered.

Before he could respond, a tactical droid then appeared on the hologram beside Tambor. "Emir Tambor, our bomb are nearly ready for launch. And now I will ready your ship for evacuation."

My eyes widened. What bomb? Immediately, Tambor snapped, spinning around to face the droid, looking furious. "No! I am not yet ready to leave."

"In any case, we have a schedule to keep. The ship will be ready." The tactical droid replied, remaining calm and collected. The droid spun to face me. "Forgive us, Mistress Nyx. But we must leave."
