So, it's the summer holidays for the children and we're trying to decide where to go. But we can't think of anywhere. I was tempted to ask to go to Ezacan but I still don't know how we can get there. So, we decided to throw a dart. James did it and it landed on the North Pole.
"I don't care where the dart landed, James. We are not going to the North Pole," Roland told him
Sofia came in.
"I know where we should go! We should go to Avalor!" Sofia said pointing to it on the globe.
We were all puzzled by Sofia's choice.
"Avalor? Why?" I asked
"That's so far away," Amber said
"And we need to visit a kingdom we can trade with," Roland said
"I just read all about it, and Avalor is the perfect place for all of us!" Sofia said smiling, 'You say you wanna go somewhere new. Well, I have just the new kingdom for you, a special place that we all can explore. So let me tell you about Avalor. It's where everyone goes to trade, we can shop in their grand arcade, it has plenty of sights to see, and ancient ruins of mystery and beautiful scenery. So let's get out of our Royal Home and all set out for the Great Unknown. We'll chart a course of our very own and take a leap into the Great Unknown. The Great Unknown.'
"Avalor sounds great!" James said smiling
"Yes, let's go!" I said smiling
"What an adventure it could be!" Mum said smiling
"And good for the kingdom!" Roland added smiling
"Just as long as we get to go shopping!" Amber said smiling
"We'll take the Royal Galleon," Roland said motioning to a model of the ship we'll be taking
So, off to Avalor. But I can't help but notice that Sofia was very desperate to go there. I wonder why. We went on the ship and made our way to Avalor where I overheard Sofia.
'Across the ocean, as I set sail I'm hoping that I won't fail to find a Princess I've never met and end my biggest story yet and free her from my Amulet,' Sofia said
'So let's get out of our Royal Home and all set out for the Great Unknown,' we sang together
'And maybe pick up a brand new throne,' Amber sang smiling
'Let's take a leap into the Great Unknown. The Great Unknown.'
Sofia walked up to the ship's bow as I followed to see what was going through her mind.
'As the trade winds begin to blow, there's so much that I still don't know. To free this Princess all on my own is such a leap. A journey deep into the Great Unknown,' Sofia sang
"I'll help you, Sofia," I said smiling
"Thank you, (Y/N)," Sofia said smiling and hugging me
I hugged her back as we sailed into the horizon. I'm guessing this has something to do with her amulet. I mean, the kingdom is named after her amulet and she mentioned it in her song. I guess I'll catch on when we get there. Or she'll just tell me. She mentioned that the queen was evil and she took over Avalor while also accidentally trapping the princess in Sofia's amulet. I don't know if the queen is actually evil or not but I'll go with it. A few days later, we arrived in Avalor. Sofia and I went onto the deck to see Avalor. It's a large kingdom.
