Bendy was still, like a stone statue people would typically find in the middle of town square. He didn't know what to think after hearing you say something like that to him. No one had ever confessed their feelings to him in a way like that, and he had to admit...he liked it.

"I'm sorry Bendy...It's okay if you don't feel the same." You said sadly after watching his unmoving form for a minute or two.
You pulled your hands away from his, letting them rest at your sides. Was he disgusted? Did he hate you again after hearing something so ridiculous? You sighed with a frown. "I guess we should keep moving...I didn't say that with any intention to ruin our current relationship. I hope you can still look at me the same."

The demon just stared at you, still completely baffled with the idea your confession had given him. He imagined it all in his head; being in a serious relationship with you, and spending the rest of his days with someone that would never abandon him. It made him internally smile. You sure were something else to him. Bendy shook himself out of his trance as you walked past him, down the hallway where the maze was slowly becoming less complicated.

He looked at you thoughtfully; his mind was still thinking about your words. He growled at himself. He wasn't about to leave you to assume that he felt the opposite about the matter. 'Why did I freeze up like that?!' The demon scolded himself, glancing down at his hands before looking back up at you. 'She just confessed that she likes you, and you stood there like an idiot!!'

The ink demon furrowed his non-visible eyebrows and looked at you again. His body flared up with confidence and determination. 'I am not going to let it end like that!' Bendy hurriedly stomped over to you.

"Bendy, are you coming or wh-" You started, starting to turn around but quickly getting cut off as Bendy grabbed you by the wrists and pulled you towards him. You had no time to react as his head lowered down to your level, his lips meeting with yours. Your eyes widened, and you felt your breath being abruptly cut off.

He...He really loved you?

The longer he held you there, the more the two of you began to relax. You closed your eyes and returned the kiss with a passion that surprised him quite a bit. Your arms moved to wrap around his neck, and he lightly held onto your waist.

Bendy hadn't ever imagined that this would have been the outcome when he met you. You gave off a very timid first impression, yet you had been the one to admit your feelings long before he had even begun to accept his own.

'I do love her...I was just too stupid to realize it.'

His inky, black heart had fallen for you the moment he laid eyes on you, but he had thought nothing of the feeling at first. It didn't take much more for him to want to spare your life. He was glad he did; he would have ended up living without even realizing he had killed the only person able to understand his pain.

You were a blushing mess by the time the two of you parted, but you didn't pull away from his embrace. He looked down at you with a frown, his breaths heavy as he spoke. "(y/n)..." He breathed, his eyes meeting with yours. "You don't need to apologize about something like that...I didn't know how to react." The demon finished, "I do love you, and I mean it. I know I've been a jerk in the past, and I forced you to stay here, but I've never felt this way about someone in my life."

You smiled at that, knowing that everything would be okay now that you had someone to cherish in your life.

"I love you too, Bendy."

He smiled back at you and leaned back up to his full height. The silence that followed was more comfortable than it had been lately; the tension from the earlier fight being the reason why.  "Now..." He began, taking your hand and gesturing down at the empty hallway in front of you. "Are you willing to traverse the rest of this absolutely TERRIFYING maze after seeing the abomination I killed earlier?" He asked jokingly.
