The quiet villagers bravely peeked their heads out occasionally at the sound of a faint commotion going on in the center of their tiny town, half expecting to have their heads ripped off after feeling the unpleasant aura of the ink demon so close to their doors.

Instead, they were able to register that they were not being harmed, and weren't going to die, when they rested their eyes onto the source of the noise. They shuddered at the memories of the ink demon; lost ones were definitely killed right before their eyes once or twice before. The lost village was pretty safe for the most part, but sometimes there were the unlucky ones. What made it worse, was that the other residents were too fearful to do anything, and could only stare in horror as the victim was torn into bits. Their inky blood has marked many of the buildings, and faint stains still remain. It was not a pleasant thing to have to live with.

Some of them awed at Dale and your father, not completely aware of why those two were talking to the group of strangers like nothing was wrong. The ink demon was right there! Could they not see that?!

(Y/n) was standing in the group of inklings and humans alike, and the demon was a part of it. You hadn't noticed the villagers looking over at you and the others through the windows, and through cracks in the doors.

For you, there were more important things to focus on. What Bendy did was out of the question for now, and everyone else was openly compromising about how they could devise a route to Alice without having her notice them too much.

"She's got speakers everywhere." Bendy told the group, his face carrying an annoyed frown, and his arms firmly crossed over his chest. His bowtie was a little more ruffed up than it was when you last saw him in the ballroom, and it wasn't until he was the center of the conversation that you noticed. He spoke in detail, and everyone else listened intently. The demon was the most knowledgeable when it came to Alice and the studio, so the others had asked him to inform them on all he knew of her and her antics. It would help those who were more unfamiliar with her, such as Connor and Williams, to better understand who they were up against.

"I don't know how she manages to keep tabs on anyone with the speakers alone. She doesn't have any visuals in the hallways when she uses them."

"Then that's what we can use against her." Connor pointed out, a fist confidently positioned on his hip. "Is it possible for all of us to take different routes without too much difficulty?"

Bendy instantly knew what he was getting at. "I would normally say no, it's not very safe, but there are ways that we can make it work."

"What if we were to split into smaller groups?" Sammy suggested, looking around at everyone briefly for their thoughts. "Each group will have someone with a weapon, that way if anyone gets attacked, they can defend themselves."

No one appeared to be opposed with the idea, although your father didn't like the thought of fighting with Alice. Physical fighting wasn't in his bones, both metaphorically and literally. You noticed his uneasiness and silently took his hand as a sign of reassurance, sending a small smile his way. He returned it and tried to relax himself to the best of his ability.

"If we split up, then Alice would have trouble keeping us in one place. It might be better to go with Sammy's suggestion, although we need to figure out what it is were doing when we split up." Allison encouraged, glancing at Tom and getting a small nod of approval from the wolf.

You never knew that the cocky nature of the ink demon would ever be completely replaced with a focus so intense. He was deeply thinking about all of this, and the effort alone was a depiction of just how much he hated Alice.

"If we decide to do this, each group will need to make their way up to level nine, preferably at similar times if there are no complications. There is a lift, and two alternate stairways, so three groups would be suitable. The angel will without a doubt send her lackies out to get rid of us though, so we're gonna need to have this planned out pretty well."
