Ch. 20 "Fear"

                                                             Jaylynn POV 

"Holy Shi-" Sam began. 

"Don't you dare finish that sentence." Steve said glaring at him. 

"Wow! that was amazing!" Thor said hugging me. 

I stiffened. 

Thor set me back down. 

I hear Clint whistle. 

"Now that's a big hole." He said 

"Steve I told next time you do this Tony is going to be pissed." He said walking through the hole in the wall. 

"It's wasn't Steve." Sam said 

"It was her." Sam said motioning to me. 

Clint's eyes widen. 

I looked down at my feet. 

This is getting uncomfortable to me. 

I felt a hand on my shoulder making me jump a little . I looked up seeing Bucky. 

"It's alright Jaylynn." Bucky said 

"Come on lets get you something to drink." Bucky said taking my hand clearly feeling I was uncomfortable 

And we walked out of the room. 

                                          Steve POV 

I watched as Bucky took Jaylynn out of the room. 

"Damn the girl can hit." Sam said 

I was looking at the damage of the wall and the punching bag. the bag even had a hole in it and sand pouring out of it. 

How much of the serum did they use on her? I thought 

"What the hell.' I hear Tony

I turn around and see Tony he had his arms crossed. 

"It actually wasn't Steve this time." Sam said 

"Oh?" Tony said arching his brow. 

"It was Jaylynn." Sam said 

"Really?" Tony said not fully believing him 

"Yes! you should have seen it!" Thor said smiling ear to ear

Tony looked at me. I just nodded at the same time I was worried. worried that such a little girl has such power. 

Worried because she doesn't know her own strength.

I sighed 

"It's not her fault." I said 

"I didn't say it was Cap." Tony said 

He started looking at the wall. 

"Kid really doesn't know his own strength," Tony said 

I nodded 

"That's what worries me." I said 

"I'm sure you and Barnes can help with that since you two seem to not know your own strength at times too." Tony said placing his hand on my shoulder. 

"I hope so." I mumbled as I ran my hand through my hair. 

                                         Jaylynn POV 

Me and Bucky were in the kitchen. 

He gave me some juice as he sat me on the counter.

But I just held the cup in my hands as my head hung low. 

"Jaylynn?" Bucky asked 

I looked up at him through my eyelashes. 

"What's wrong?" He asked concerned 

"Do you think Steve is mad?" I asked just below a whisper 

But he still heard me. 

"Why would he be mad?" Bucky asked 

"Because I broke the wall.." I mumbled 

"Do you know how many times I broke the wall, Mirror, equipment?" He said as he chuckled 

I looked up at him. 

"Too many times to count." He said shaking his head as he smiled 

"Steve's not going to punish me is he?" I said nervously 

Bucky stopped smiling, 

"Why would he?" He said 

"In HYDRA I broke my trainers arm but it was an accident, I tried telling them that but I still got punished.." I mumbled looking down at the floor 

"Jaylynn trust me your not getting punished and we are not like them," He grumbles 

"Jaylynn." He said 

I looked up at him. 

"I promise nothing is going to happen to you here." He said 

"Promise?" i asked 

"Promise." He said smiling at me
