                                        Jaylynn POV

I shot up sweat covering my body. Reliving the nightmare they put me through. All the pain, The belittling. The punishing.

My heart felt like it was about to pound out of my chest.

"You seem in distress miss would you like me to get Mr Rogers?" A voice said

"Wh-Who's there?' I said

"I am Friday Mr Starks AI." The voice said

I got out of bed holding the Teddy bear Bucky got me.

I started walking down the hallways. Trying to rid myself of the flashbacks. The nightmares I wish were just Nightmares. But really they were real Everything actually happened.

Then As I was walking I hear a noise.

I look in the training room to see Bucky hitting the Punching bag hard.

I open the door quietly. I sit on the bench as He continues.

I clutch the bear he got me tightly as I watch.

He turns around to get a water and sees me. His eyes widen a little.

"Jaylynn what are you doing here?" He asked

I just shrugged.

He kneeled in front of me.

"It is three in the morning. what are you doing up so early?" He said

I just shrugged again.

He arched his brow.

"Bucky..." I hesitated to asked

"What's wrong?' He asked

"Do you.... do you ever have nightmares...?" I asked

I could see the sadness in his eyes.

"Yes I do." He said

"Are you?" He asked

I nodded

"What about?" He asked

"What they did.." I said

"How do you make them go away?.." I asked

He smiled at me lightly.

"I haven't quite figured that out yet." He said chuckling

He picked me up.

"Lets see if we can find Steve I'm sure he's around here somewhere." He said

"He's awake?" I asked

"Yeah. Guy never sleep." He said chuckling

                             Bucky POV

To say I was a little surprised to see Jaylynn sitting on the bench watching me train at three in the morning was a bit of a understatement.

But what really surprised me is that she said she was having nightmares. I know what it's like in HYDRA and that alone can give a grown up nightmares.

I can't imagine what it was like for her. And who knows how little she was when they started training her. Making her into their weapon.

I looked at her as I carried her. And despite all of that she's the sweetest kid I known. Just a little scared of everything and who can blame her.

And that is why I am going to keep her safe no matter what I have to do to make that happen.
