Chap. 20: Determination and Decision

" Hey, Sani" Tatz called out over the phone

" yes, it was sudden but I might not be able to finish school in their...sorry to bother and trouble you guys with the turnover of the student officers" I stated

Tatz grumbled and frowned...I chuckled and bid farewell since its night time there...

It's been 3 days since we've arrived in France and was informed that I'll be joining a new school in here together with Hals... My brothers insisted that I should totally settle here after the incident, they just can't risk me being out of the border, now that I am exposed as an heir...

" Righ, you there" Hals called out

" yeah" I replied...she got in my room carrying a tray of food

" How are your wounds right now?" she asked and settled the food on the table side

" it aches but it heals" I answered and slowly got down on my bed putting pressure on my wound cause it hurts when it my skin suddenly stretches

" careful" Hals looked at me worrily

I sat on the chair and pulled out my laptop

" when are we going to the new school?" I asked

Hals sat infront of me and handed me a phamlet

" their will be a school tour for exchange and transfer students next week... Are you still up to on the tour?" she confirmed

I paused for a moment and nod in response...
The schools seems to be on the same school that Beau and Sean is attending... Brother Knight informed that the security at that school has increased due to the incident last time and also some of his undercover agents will be added for more safety measure since I'm going to attend the school... I asked my brother to keep me at a low profile even though I've been already introduce world wide... Who knows maybe I can still evade a few leeches off...

Sean and Sebastian visited me yesterday... the boy ran off from his father's side and stood at my bed side sniffling and kept on apoligizing for not protecting me... I laughed at his statement which caused him to burst into tears even more...I apologized and rub his cheek, as I convince him that... A man should not cry in front of a lady cause the lady will be worried to the man and cause her grievance... Sean listen carefully as he looked at me with his eyes getting puffy due to crying

" you were determined enough to protect me but there are still things that a boy can't do on his own" I stated...he looked sad but maybe, just maybe he was able to understand what I meant
I also added that I'll be waiting for the right time for him to protect me but as of now, I'll be the one protecting him with what I can do

He nodded in agreement and declared that he will really do it no matter what...Sean was im delight when he knew that I'm going to attend school, the same as his but at a different building ground though... One thing that I've notice upon mentioning the school, Sebastian got tense and look at me as if I've just did a joke to enlighten Sean... erm

Beau visited me almost everyday this past 3 days and that he kept on insisting that he will be the one doing the protecting from now on...I sighed and convinced him like I did to Sean...which he also agreed to...looks like I'll be having a two mini bodyguards starting next week...a cute one though

" Righ, I've decided to take up the offer I rejected last time" Hals stated

I paused for a moment as I recall what she's trying to imply, I recall which one she was saying and I shook my head in disagreement

" Hals, no"

" Righ, I was in the same situation as the two kids, I was unable to do nothing. I was so useless at that time during the past incident that happened. I've only stared as you bled and done nothing, I blamed myself from being there but was like a void" she said while trembling

I hanged my head low as I consider her thoughts...I do not wish for my bestfriend to experienced a cross fire...I cannot risk her safety, she was just involved because of me

Thoughts after thoughts kept on flooding me and was cut off by Hals next statement

" Righ, I'm already involved to you ever since we were in our diapers and the stupid things you've done which I was also blamed with just because I allowed you to do it...you can't just tell me not to be a part of this anymore, it was far too long that you've been apart of my life that I can't just discard and leave you behind just because things are getting worse on your part...Righley Reign Samuels, drill my words on your stubborn brain, I will never leave you even if I die" she declared

I teared up and hugged my bestfriend who just cursed me that she will follow me even if she was a soul...

" Thank you, Hals. I will surely be doing the same if you were on my position" I laughed

With that cleared up...Hals started her training the next day while I am still forced to rest for the next few days and not allowed to be part of the training...

My brothers seems to be busy on somethings as I've been bother why they barely visited me after that incident... I totally vouched that they'll be flocking my room getting worried and restricting me on moving around...but they've only visited me twice this past days... I've notice Sebastian one time upon bumping unto him on my way to the willow tree...he asked me if I am allowed by Sammy to be limping around...I sarcastically told him that should I show him a doctor's permit which earned me a scoff and a stern glared that caused me to shiver... He helped me reached my destination and left me, saying that he has something to say to brother Knight...

" Your brothers seems to have a serious agenda on their own on something, do you have any idea?" Lina stated

I shrugged

" words, Reign" Lina reminded

I smiled sheepishly and answered her no

I hope it has nothing to do with me going to the new school...but knowing my brothers and considering that, the thought cross my mind, it means that it might be the case...
