" Duke, do you remember 5 years ago?" King handed a file to his brother, while James leaned on the chair and looked at the monitor
" The high table's hunting season" James clenched his teeth as he recall the incident that happens yearly, the war ranking of the underground organization that's being govern by the high tables... Civilians are involved, depending on what country will the war rank commence... and for additional thrill, certain targets are listed for hunting that results in higher rank which varies on the level of the target
" Then, the incident 5 years ago happens, which heighten the interest of the organizations due to the additional list of targets that involved the sole heir of our family, Righley. They listed her as the highest target which caused turmoil all over. We were able to rescue the kidnapped teenagers and minimized the wreckage of the ranking of organizations" Knight uttered as images flashed on the monitor during the incident
" The worst thing was the kidnapping, it happened due to the information that the lost heir of the Samuels has deep blue eyes like the rest of us, and so, the organizations started to snatch the girls that has blue eyes which are almost identical to ours... We were lucky that we were able to rescue them safely" Knight continued
The door in the room opens and Sebastian Rodriguez entered as to be greeted by the intense stare of the brothers
" With the cooperation of Mr.Rodriguez, it led us to his families organization and helped us out in rescuing the girls" King stated as he pats Sebastian's back
" Was she allowed to walk all over the place?" Sebastian bluntly asked as he pointed out the window that has the viewed of the willow tree
The Samuels snaps at the direction his pointing at and rushed to the window to look... Some cursed while the younger brothers rushed out leaving the elder ones behind in disbelief
" why didn't you stop her?" King asked in disbelief
Sebastian smirked and sat down in one of the chairs
' if I did stop her by carrying her back to the house, you'll be fuming' he stated in his mind
" As much as, I oppose to the idea of sending her outside the house, we don't have the ability to persuade her and my wife" Knight grumbled as King and Duke grunt in dismay
" with Ruka leading the squad, and the others tracking the original target, we have no choice but to compromise with the carrot and the whip in this manor" Knight instructed...he may be respected and holds the power in the family... A man may hold such greatness and power anywhere but not towards his wife...
TN: the carrot and the whip is a term used for reward and punishment, which may also means Righley as the carrot and Lina as the whip
