Chap. 12: Competition!

" the hatch is opening, Righley tighten your parachute properly" brother Chain instructed

We've been on air for hours and its look like we have arrived in Russia
The plane will be waiting for us at a landing strip 10km away from where we are landing

And its nearly dawn...

" Jump...jump...jump" brother Knight called out

With brother Ruka heading first then the rest followed...

[I'll be back] I said to my dogs they stared at me

" Righley" brother Knight called out

I look at him and nod... I jump out of the plane and soon our eldest followed...

" mhm!" I muffled in shock after witnessing my brothers flipping in mid air

' are they having fun?'

I chuckle when brother Grand held out a thumbs up

'silly' I shrugged

I felt someone tapping on my soldier and look at who
Brother Knight signaled to pull the lever for the parachute to come out
In which I did...one by one my brothers did the same

The sun is yet to light upon the land...

" We got an hour to get this job done" brother Knight held out his watch and we did the same to set the time

" Righley, you'll be going with us, the rest you know the plan" Brother Knight added

It was all planned out earlier

" Ralph, our relative" I asked and stood near the table beside brother Duke and James

" He was adopted by Uncle Monte, and it looks like he was actually the son of the boss of the Spiders organization" brother James stated

My brothers stared at me to look at my reaction.... I sighed in distraught and shrugged Its gonna be alright

" I'm fine now, for real" I promised

They look unconvinced

" I saw mom and dad in my dreams, they convinced me that no one is to blame for what has happened and I am relieve to hear that from them" I explained

They were shocked from what I've just said

" and I have to be strong and stop worrying my brothers since I am a Samuels and a Samuels is not weak and a coward" I claimed

They smiled looking proud

" there's no way will stop worrying about you" brother King chuckled and pat my head

And the others agreed...after a few minutes of settling my brothers down, we went back to business

" Righley, the original plan was to attack right after you went back to P country but we won't risk further" brother Trance

I was waiting for the next thing they will say

" We'll be planning an ambush and we will be bringing you along" Brother Trevor added

" Okay" I answered

" What?" Brother Prince exclaimed in disbelief while my other brothers wait for my reasons

" I want the Spiders to see who've they missed to kill and they will pay for messing with me" I bluntly answered

" Our destination is North-East Murmansk City... Our attack will take an hour " brother Knight instructed

" the attack only consist of us brothers and Righley, Lloyd and his team will take care of the henchmen’s deployed in Switzerland" brother Knight added

What! They dare to intrude and cause commotion at our parent’s death anniversary. They ain't tired of messing around in our family

The meeting ended and head towards the plane immediately, the dogs sat down next to me... They will be staying inside the plane, there is no way I am bringing them

********At the moment*********

" Righley, let’s go" brother Knight lightly tap my shoulder

10 minutes pass and we were able to infiltrate their base that easily. They went all out with the guards but was easily taken down

" Brother Knight, Ralph is nowhere to be seen" brother Suga was on the other line

" tsk... Grand call Lloyd immediately" brother Knight ordered

" copy" brother Grand replied

" he must be leading the henchmen" brother King stated

" that damn bastard got away" brother Duke growled

" Grand, tell Lloyd to confine Ralph bruise him but don't kill him" brother James said to brother Grand

" brother, it’s been taken care of" brother Grand replied

" Who are you?!" a man yelled out

Then, a group of men showed up

" Let’s see who gets the most of them" brother King suggested then pulling his leather gloves

" What do you say, Righley?" brother James asked

I pointed to myself then they nod at the same time...

I look at the group of men who’s started to charge... Really? Right now

" Okay" I answered then smack the man who was about to touch me

" One down" I smirked and started getting ahead of brothers

" A Samuels indeed" I heard brother Knight snickered

*bam*boom*babam*bogsh*

" I got 10" brother James

" 12" brother King

" damn... I got 8" brother Duke

" 15" brother Knight

" 11 can I include the ones at the gate" I smiled goofily because I got more than my brothers

" No... brother King got the most of it" brother Duke grumbled

" I got 13" brother Suga said on the other line

" You guys are joining too" I snicker

" hell yeah, how about we bet on something" brother Paul suggested

The others agreed... Brother James opened a grand looking door

" how does a two week in handling the HQ company for the last two losers" brother Ruka suggested

And the others muttered but agreed in the end

" For the younger ones, they really do despise being tied up at the company" brother Knight chuckled

I just shrugged

" To whom do I owe this grand presence bestowed upon me by the Samuels" A man with eerie voice uttered... As much as being cliché as it sounds... The man is hidden in the dark

" Ally, save her~" A shaky voice pleaded

A feint pain struck me... It was mom's

" Righley Reign Samuels, the sole princess of the Samuels" the man sounded scary uttering my name

" Did you have fun?" I asked directly

The man went silent...just then the lights were lit up
We were surrounded at least 150
I saw the man and it sent shiver down to my spine as he stared at me dead in the eye

" It was supposed to be fun... If you have died together with your parents" he laughed sinisterly

I smirked and he noticed it and then stopped laughing... He must have realized that I've already got the gist of his anger

" Too bad for you, I was saved... And look exactly like my mom and my dad" I grin in victory... His was expression is growing dark but then smirked in retaliation

" If only if your mother married me instead of that bastard, but then 18 years ago a certain birdy informed me that a miracle was born..." the man confessed

I heard my brother scoff

" Those Samuels had Reign in possession instead of me and then an only girl was born... There is no way I will let the Samuels get more happier even more and so I called an assassination... To kill you" He bluntly confessed then laughed sinisterly

I clenched my fist in anger and a tear slip onto my cheeks

" You are a man that doesn't deserve happiness even if you are reborn and it really suits you" I claimed

The man stopped laughing and stood up angrily

" I may not deserve happiness but I can snatch away your happiness" He growled

" Now what? So, the sole reason of this feud was to sate your envy, you stoop low" brother Knight proclaimed staring down at the man

" you fool, you are in no position to blurt blasphemy in my presence" he roared and his men pointed their guns at us

" who you referring to as God? You’re just a pretentious snake, slithering around" brother King snorted

" The Recon team has arrived" a loud blast was heard and the rest of my brothers showed up

We took the chance of our surrounding being startled...we got 20 seconds before they recover and we started slaying

" We will meet again dear Reign" the man bid

And he was about to escape

" I don't think so old man" I dash toward his place and he was startled by my speed

*crack* A direct hit on his jaw...strong enough to break his neck and kill him

" That was for my family"

*thud* I stared down at him as he lay on the floor dead cold... Looking closer he looks exactly like Ralph... tsk, the head of the Spider is dead but its limbs still flicker

20 seconds have passed and 3/4 of the men are already out... More came and we were done with our annihilation with 10 minutes to spare

Killing people for the first time doesn't feels like a first to me. It doesn't mean that I killed someone in the past. It’s just that I ain't feeling guilty at all, and was it fine to be exposed to killing someone at my age

' maybe let’s settle with eliminating a certain law breaker...yeah' I nod agreeing to myself but then was startled by the sudden shook... Oh yeah, I almost forgot

We are currently inside a stolen truck making our way towards the meeting area

" Spider is not our biggest threat.... But still Spider is the most aggressive amongst all organizations" brother Ruka uttered

The others went silent... Upon realizing that our family poses great threat towards the underworld organizations makes the others retaliate while some choose not to get involve... Which resulted to endless threats by the other side

" Who then?" I asked

" they may not be that aggressive but when they strike other organizations fear them... The Phantom Guild" brother Paul nonchalantly brushed

" okay, so what should we do" I asked

" For now, nothing. But still, something feels wrong" brother Knight mumbled while clasping both of his hands

" so, I wasn't the only one who noticed, huh" brother King agreed while crossing his arms and feet

I tried to recall the events earlier and stood up startling my brothers upon realizing what went wrong

" Spider wasn't the one who control the attack that day. The Spiders were the one being controlled" I stated and sat back down trying to fish out something...it’s there I just can't make out on what’s the missing piece

Leaves? No... Black? No, not that
It has to do with the rain

" argh" I grumbled as my brothers stared at me I’m silence not wanting to interrupt me

*plip*plink*plip*[the sound of water droplets hitting the umbrella]

" the baby is alive" a man wearing a trench coat declared

Trench coat?? Wait?!
I fish out my phone from my phone and started browsing my albums

" where? Where? Ahah!" I half-yelled

Brother Knight looked at my phone and his expression sterner then clenched his fists together

The others noticed how our eldest tensed in rage and caught up with what I meant which is I found out the missing piece

" Last year when I was a Grade 11 student it happened when we were celebrating our school's foundation day. This man..." I paused and zoomed in the man in trench coat sitting behind us in the gazebo when we took a selfie as a memento

They were startled but wasn't intimidated

" He stands out because of his clothing it was almost summer that time. And also, I felt uneasy after noticing that he kept on following me around. He kept on following me around for the whole week of the celebration and somehow relieved when he stopped" I added

My brothers were in deep thought and just then we have arrived in our destination...My dogs ran towards me after noticing our arrival

We got inside the plane and already departed but still everyone was silent...Daichi sat next to me while brother Suga was beside him... He dared not to speak since he doesn't know who’s the man that I've just is
A few minutes later. Our eldest sighed pinched his temple

" No wonder... The Spider knew about your where about" brother Knight sighed again but this time it felt heavy

" who is the guy in the picture?" I asked, our eldest shrugged his head in dismay

I look around and noticed that my brothers are in deep thoughts but was still listening in our conversation

" The guy who has been following you, is the chief executive of the High Tables" brother Knight growled after mentioning that name

What?! High Tables???
