Chap. 4: Home?

" nhn" I got up lazily... My heads aching... I look at the wall clock and saw its already late afternoon 5:00 I've been sleeping for hours

I got out of the bed and went into the living room

*bark*bark*bark*bark*

I look in front and saw the dogs sitting at the coach together with Hals...

" hey" I greeted

Hals did not turn around her eyes is stuck at the TV show she's watching 'I have a Lover' hmmm...

" Where are we, by the way?" I asked

" One of your hotels in here... let’s go at the dining floor after you clean yourself" she said

" Okay....are the dogs done bathing?" I asked

And as if understanding what I've said without speaking German the 3 of them barked once

" Okay...I'll be done in half an hour" I said

She said an okay... I went in the bathroom and took a refreshing bath hoping it'll lessen my headache which it did... I got out of the room and opened the closet forgetting that it’s not my closet....
But....luckily it has a content.... Clothes, unfortunately for me.... it’s my size…I went back to the living room and saw Hals fixing her flat sandals

[ you three, stay here] I spoked in German
They just scoffed and look back at the TV...their actually watching tom and jerry... Oh well

I told Ali to stay with the dogs... which he obliged

We went down at the 30th floor... With Lloyd and the others... He informed me that they'll be dining at the table next to ours and I asked why not eat together which he refused nicely so I did not bother...

" chicken" I said in enthusiasm... Today's buffet

" Righley" someone called out I turn around to look over whose calling me...and was shocked to see who

" Lina... your here???" I asked wondering

" hmm...she really does not remember huh” she exclaimed

" What?" I said

She just shrugged and beckoned us to follow her to a table at the veranda...

We sat down...and I stab a piece of meatballs on my spaghetti dinner...

" uhm...okay...so what’s happening?" I asked as I munch my food

She stared at me for a while... while Hals devoured her food...Then, after she got tired of staring at me...she gave out a loud sigh

" Change of plans" Lina said

I stopped mid-way when I was about to bite some of the chicken

" What do you mean?" I asked and put down my spoon and the chicken

" You'll be going back to the province tomorrow...staying there for 1 week to take care of the shop construction...after that will be going to France...for grandpa's birthday and also to prepare for the death anniversary of your parents" She informed me

hn...Mom. Dad.

" Okay, I understand" I said

" You guys, will be staying overseas for a month and a half" She added

More Summer Vacation... I thought

" Righley" Lina called out

I look up at her and answered a 'yes'...she hesitated for a second

" Do you really not remember anything from earlier?" she asked

I look at her confused and look at Hals but she was busy scrolling down on her phone

" I don't seem to get what your trying to say" I said bluntly

She just shrugged and seems relieved...ehm...for what reason

And after eating dinner...we went out on a night stroll with the dogs...Lina did not come with us because she said that she wants to take care of something

" I don't know what’s happening but there must be another reason why the plan has been altered" I said to Hals

" Will know after we go and know it ourselves" she said

" I hope it’s not that complicated though" I added

She just shrugged and we went to a mall and started buying presents to our family...

We've departed earlier than expected which is at midnight... Hals and I just got back at the Hotel barely at 12 when we saw Lina waiting for us at the lobby and told us will be going...  She told us that our things were already done and is now in the car.... And I don't know which car though because there are 5 of them...

Upon entering the car... The dogs slept and so Hals and I followed along...while cuddling with my dogs...we stuffed ourselves on the passenger seat and it was so damn comfy...

When I woke it was already 7:00 and we are at N***** V***j...and so...we stopped at S*****o for a breather and some breakfast and also some take outs...pizza and donuts. It was 8:30 when we started driving again...The dogs are back to sleep while Hals and I are munching some fries

" Lina... The main house is in France, right?" I asked

" yes...and mostly have houses on each country and it is mainly a villa nor a rest house, why the sudden question?" she said

" nothing...just want to know why are we going in France instead of other places" I said

" okay" she said

I pulled Shin towards me and let his head drop over my lap and I did the same to Ichi....Wolf is currently wide awake and his head is out of the window...

I plug my ears with my headphones and pulled out my iPad and turn on some music...

I open the project plan for the shop...since the clear out for the construction is done...all we need to do before going to France is to give out instruction and to provide the final lay out and designs...

I kept on tapping to provide more precise instruction about the details of each designs... I was startled by the sudden buzz of my phone... I grab it and look at whose calling...I also noticed that we are actually almost at our municipality because we are about to cross the bridge...

Mama was calling...and so I answered it

' hey, sweetie...so where are you right now?' she asked...and she sounds excited...

" hey, ma... We've just reach L****, and will be stopping for a few minutes to grab something before heading there" I informed her

' okay...okay... If your using a car...just park it along the garage near the mango tree' she said

" okay...see you later, ma" I smiled

' love you, sweetie, see you in a jeepee' she said in excite...that made me chuckle I replied an I love you before ending the call...

" Lina...are the other 3 cars coming with us? Cause I bet the garage can't hold out more than 5 cars" I said

The garage...must have 3 cars parked in their... Hals and mines Mercedes Benz and the other is for family use purposes either of us can use it...and at least 4 motorcycles... 2 for my family and 2 for Hals family...

" Don't worry...the rest will be separated in here and shall be proceeding on their post" she said while not looking at me...she was focused on her PC...

" Lloyd... Park there for a moment" after he parked the car...Hals and I got down leaving the sleeping dogs behind

" wait for us here...Zayn, come with us" I instructed

We headed inside the Supermart and proceeded to the chocolate drinks section... I saw boxes of Chuckie drinks... I grabbed 4 box and handed it to Zayn...while Hals and I held one each...next we went to the wine section...but stopped mid-way.... cause we already have some at the car...

One car is filled with our stuff like groceries and such.... then our things...

" Princess...some beer please" Zayn said

We went to the beverage aisle and got a whole box of canned beers... Hals and I held on it by the sides... We headed to the cashier and saw Lina giving a memo paper at the cashier...we went near her and dropped the thing we got...
I took a peek on the paper and saw what she got. Ton of meat....as in ton of different kind of meat

“I want some barbeque tonight. Let’s go grab some sausages" I said...I pulled Hals and we grab some sausages

After paying our groceries...we went back to the car...

*bark*bark*bark*

[ yeah...yeah...good morning to you two] I said in German

[ Wolf, scoot over] Hals said

After settling ourselves... Lloyd started the car

" woaw... Who renovated the road towards down" I said in amazement?

" We did.... for your sake" Lina said

Oh okay... I prefer not to ask further it’s for the best...
Last time, it was a one-way road but now it’s a two-way road nice and the once...sharp curved road is now a nice roadway not dangerous anymore

By the time we reached our destination it was already lunch time so...not that many people are at the playground...

I was astonished by the garage it was awesome... We parked the cars on the empty space...while the 3rd car...is outside...we emptied our things in it and after emptying it... They excused their selves and went back to their unknown post

My 5 bodyguards are with us... I look at our things...ugh... Too much stuff...

" uhm... I'll take care of my luggage, you guys take care of the rest"... I pulled my large baggage...and a small one...good thing the path heading to the house was paved already

I was slowly dragging my baggage while my dogs are following me cautiously... Upon reaching Hals house I've instantly noticed the great evolvement and it sure is wide a 20 by 30 I guess
I guess it is also an indeed plan by Lina. It’s a 2-story house
Damn...I noticed a bridge in the 2nd-floor connecting to another direction don’t tell me I quickly rushed towards the other direction and saw that it was connected to a 2-story house. Wait, our house was also remodified. It has a rooftop space for multi-purpose plans I think.

" Hals...see you later" I said and she replied with an ok and entered the house I heard a squeal and a laughter...lively as usual
I was completely amazed as I inspect our house a 30 by 45 maybe… It has the same model in the Villa at C**** with the all glass wall at the second floor.
[ Reign, please move] Lina said in French

[ oh sorry] I continued to walk towards our house

...how nice the outside paint is a combination of white and brown. When I reached the door, it was slightly open and so I pushed the door using my foot...

" ma... I'm home!" I declared

Then a rustle noise coming from the back was heard then soon a rushing sound then there appeared my mama...in an apron

" Welcome home, sweetie" she said

I let go of my luggage and went to hug her...mmm I miss her

" Sani...your here" I heard the voice of my sister coming from behind me... I look back and saw her together with my two brothers holding paper bags

" yeah" I chuckled she dropped the paper bags on the table at the living room cause its we're currently in... she gave me a hug and soon came along my brothers

This is what a HOME feels like a welcoming family that gives off soothing feeling... A Home

-----1 week later-----

A week passed and will be travelling back to M**** tomorrow morning... I've just woke up I pushed the comforter off from my body... It’s getting warmer...I grab the remote for the AC and turn it on... My dogs are not beside me which means they got up before me...I look at the time and its already 10... I reached for my phone and saw a few messages coming from Lina and my parents...

Lina went to M***** 2 days ago to prepare somethings as usual... And she texted me to remind me for tomorrow

My parents texted me about not going to the shop today... The shop had its grand opening yesterday and damn it was so exhausting I had to execute that Impromptu speech and somehow it went well

I pushed the curtains to the side...and slide the glass door open and turned off the AC...

" Nothing beats fresh air" I inhaled deeply and stood there for a few seconds... I tied my hair in a ponytail and went down stairs
[ Shin, Ichi...come here] I said in German and whistle

A loud thumping was heard coming from the living room and soon I saw them running towards me

I pulled out the dog food from the cabinet and gave them food... Dog food is good once in a while cause today I'm not in the mood for cooking

I open the fridge to grab some food for my stomach. A club sandwich sounds yummy I pulled out a bottle of orange juice and went to the living room

" nice...Scoobydoo's on" I said...

I laze around till 3 in the afternoon and then decided to go at the shop...

" Lloyd... I'm going to the shop" I informed them when I saw them hanging out at the garage

" Okay...lets go" he said

I went inside my car together with my dogs and Lloyd while the other 4 used the other one

" Seatbelt please" Lloyd said, I put it on.

Upon arriving at the shop it’s almost pack

I went inside the shop and saw my sister managing the front desk...she must have noticed my presence and she turn her attention towards me

" your here" she said

" uhuh... I'll be going upstairs" I said

" okay... I'll ask Hals to bring up some snacks for you" she said

" Thank you" I went to the 2nd floor
I went straight to my very own private space...the balcony

[ Shin, stop moving around]- German... I grab a hold of him when he passed by me...he seems restless...Ichi was quietly sitting at the couch staring outside

Shin whimpered and sat in front of me and nudge his snout on my knee... I sighed in conscience... Now I know, I pat my laps to let him know to go ahead. He climbed on the coach and laid flat on his stomach and lay his head on my laps

" Special crossinis for the lady and a freshly made whooped milk shake...and I brought dog treats but it seems it will be devoured later" Hals exaggerated

My dogs are sound asleep Ichi is settling his head on the arm rest of the couch while Shin settled his on my laps

" France for tomorrow and after a couple of days.... meet my family" I said in deep thoughts

" nervous?" Hals asked then sat in front of me which was followed by Wolf sitting beside her

" not that...it’s just that I'm worried of the sudden change of plan" I said

" Righ...it’s gonna be fine...as I've said will find out when we are there" she said trying to ease my mind

" Thanks for being always by my side" I told her sincerely

She gave me a smile and excused herself since she still got work to do.... I reached for the milk shake and pull out my phone from my bag...

I noticed an unusual message...what I mean by unusual is that it gives of an eerie feeling...I opened the message and I instantly went pale

" Princess?!" Somebody called out then a rush footstep followed...I look at my left side and saw my body guards panting

" What happen your heart rate speed up?" Lloyd asked and came close near me

__________LOYD's POV____________

" I--" Righley stuttered as she trembled...

We rushed to where she is because of the sudden alarm (we attached a sensor on her watch) that her heart rate heightens, I noticed her shaking while holding her phone and she is on the verge of crying

" may I?" I asked as I reached for her phone

I was enraged by what I read which caused me to instantly call Knight immediately

[ Lloyd] As usual the boss voice holds authority

" Boss, we need to depart now" I informed

I heard a loud thud on the background its either his chair fell down after he stood up or he threw something off

[ what happen] his voice sounded deep

" They know, Righley, just received a message from them" I said

I look at Righley and she seems truly shaken up...she might be unaware that this may be a prank...but her body remembers, her trauma during her infantry...

[ What does it say?] his tone was getting heavier

" it says ' FOUND YOU' and it has their symbol" I said

[ Fuck!] He said in raged then a loud crash was heard on the background

After a few seconds of boss calming his self

[ How is she?] he asked softly.... This may not be the right time but the Samuels Brothers are gonna be truly smitten by their sister

" she is really shaken up; we need to depart immediately" I advise

I signaled Kai...to call Halsey up here

[ Get here as fast as you can no stop over until you reach France] he said

" Yes, boss" I answered

He ended the call and a rushing footstep were heard

" Righ...are you okay?" Halsey asked immediately

Righley nod her head slowly...Halsey held her hand and tried to comfort her...
So much fear...

" we have to depart as soon as possible will be using a chopper to get to M***** as soon as possible" I informed

The chopper will be arriving in half an hour at the plaza

" Halsey, you guys need to pack your necessities fast" I instructed

She only nod in reply and she slowly pulled Righley

____________RIGHLEY's POV__________

After 20 minutes, we packed up our things like our gadgets and a pair of clothes I did not utter any word since earlier... The moment I read that message it frightened me and made me shudder

We are on our way to the plaza cause will be using the helicopter to fly all the way to NAIA Airport... Lloyd was the one who explained everything to my family...they gave me a hug before I got inside the Helicopter... The dogs sat down on the floor...

I closed my eyes...trying to doze myself to sleep wanting to forget the fear

" Righley" A feint voice was calling out for me

" Righley time to get up" it was Halsey's voice

I slowly open my eyes and I am in an unfamiliar room

" where are we and how long have I been sleeping?" I asked I noticed my dogs sleeping soundly and so is Wolf

" We are at a private plane and you've been sleeping for 5 hours" she said

That long

" How long since we departed?" I asked again

" 3 hours ago," she answered

" my heads aching" I said

I got down from the bed slowly not wanting to wake up the dogs Hals lead the way towards the mini living room. As we get near I can hear a feint conversation coming from the other side of the door...I pulled the door open and saw Lina and the other five sitting except for Kai and Jayz

[How do you feel?] Lina asked in French

[Fine, I guess] I also answered in French

[ Will be arriving in France within 8 hours at fast speed] she informed me

[okay] I answered...isn't that dangerous

I sat down on an empty chair

" so, as we were saying, Righley, your brothers have decided to introduce you as early as possible" Lloyd informed me because Lina exited when her phone rang

" what do you mean?" I asked

" since your family is the only one that knows where you are and nobody else knows who you are... We need to impose you as soon as possible so that we will lessen the danger of you being hurt publicly" He added

I shuddered at the message earlier... A mere message shattered my courage...Wait....impose

" by impose, you mean" I stopped

" yes... Will introduce you to the world who you truly are" Lloyd said in a serious train

What.... I am not prepared

" your first appearance will be at your grandfather’s birthday which is in next week June 20...and the second one is at your parent’s death anniversary July 5th in Switzerland" Lloyd added

Mom...Dad...
I guess since my family is famous around the world means that it also involves reporters... I just hope that my classmates and schoolmates even the teachers will not know who I really am... I just hate the thought of me being known just because I am this and I am that...

[ Lloyd... Don't tell no one about our exact arrival in France... Specially those brothers... Do you get what I mean] Lina said in French as she instructed Lloyd?

Why?... Is it that bad? That our arrival has to be kept secret...

" Sure thing, sis" Lloyd replied

Ugh... I am not going to get used to the thought of Lina and Lloyd being siblings... Lina is a year older than Lloyd...

[ Are we still not safe in France?] I spoke in French since I am asking Lina

I notice how she heaved a deep sigh and shrugged

[ It's not that, Righley] she replied

[ What's the reason then?] I asked

[ *sigh* it’s for your sake] Lina said in exhaustion

Somehow, I got her point…basing from how my brothers will react upon hearing my arrival, they won’t probably agree on sitting still

[ okay...I get what you mean] I chuckled nervously of the idea of my brothers occupying the waiting area at the airport together with the reporters...

Time flies... We arrived in France and it was still night because of the time difference

When we got out of the plane I was engulfed with cold breeze... The surrounding was sparkling because of the lights

" Oh my gosh... It’s the Eiffel Tower" I squealed in excitement as I stared at the tower from a far

" France, Paris" Hals said behind my back

" Lina, lets head over there" I said as I pointed at the direction of the tower

"*sigh* I'll forgive you for not speaking in French to me... and it seems like you've improved and also we are in London so you'll be speaking in French for communication" Lina said

I chuckled and roamed my eyes around.... FRANCE. Meeting my family
