Mysa, aka Mikko Cross, was originally a human on Earth before he died and his soul was transported to the world known as "Nicalamakc."

Fun Fact: 1. Mysa's creation was quite the adventure. When he was being created his outfit changed consistently. It was difficult to find something that fit well, but I didn't want to make him look too inspired by other cartoonish characters. He was therefore inspired by many different characters in different cartoons. 2. His original human name was Musa Cross, but was changed because Mysa and Musa were too similar. 3. Mysa's character is the only one with an "un-set" color pallet. That is because he does not have a very clear view of who he actually is.
