Now Modern Kaladin doesn't have as great of a fashion sense as the other two. Whether it's because he doesn't care about his appearance as much or if it's because he doesn't want to stand out is up to you. He would be the person who's always wearing the tees with the town names that you would see in a gift shop from a trip or sports sweatshirts of any type. Jeans are his favorite because he can wear anything with them and he doesn't have to put much thought into the outfits. His color pallet has lots of deep blues and greens and blacks since those are common colors of sports teams.
When he was younger he dressed like this because it was what he would see everyone else around him dressed as and he just wanted to fit in so he did that and then by college it just stuck.
Adolin has tried to help him diversify his fashion. So now Kaladin has different colors of pants to wear. That's all he was able to do.
I definitely think Kal would major in a kinesiology or athletic training type thing because he can do hospital stuff while also being athletic and so he can follow his dads goals while also following his own wishes.
also college Kal is in a frat (bridge 4) but it's not a very popular frat but he makes it more inviting and whatnot when he takes over
