A modern Renarin is almost a mix of Shallan and Adolin. He likes to wear things that don't draw too much attention to himself but also aren't just what everyone else is wearing. Along with that, there are some things that for him are just a no go because of the textures. He has a very pastel and light color pallet so he can "blend into the background" but he also doesn't mind wearing brighter colors at times.
(Headcanon) Also since there are textures that he doesn't like most of his wardrobe is very similar.
When they first got to college Adolin helped Renarin find some clothes that Renarin would like that aligned with his texture problems but also looked good on him.
Furthermore I think a College AU Renarin would be a history or an english major because of the gemstone library and how interested he seemed to be about it when he discovered it.
