So all black because he's hot. But also it helps with his image of a professor who only teaches the flute. Also he rides a motorcycle because I say so. Him and Jasnah have a rivalry to see who can get the first student to cry but the kick is that they can't make the student cry. The winner gets to take the loser out on a date. Hoid had tried to get Jasnah to go out with him many times and she finally said yes to this bet at the beginning of the year.
Anyway Hoids color pallet is all black. He likes to wear a leather jacket but in that last picture is concert blacks because he is a music guy and music people wear concert blacks to concerts :)
