Chapter 20: Scars

The whole team arrived at the tower. The Captain took them all to check up at the medical floor so that they could get looked over. As soon as they arrived, all the nurses offered themselves to attend Kaito who was still feeling some pain.

"(He wasn't kidding about his reputation)" Aoi thought chuckling a little while watching the nurses all around Kaito

"Ladies! Please behave!" Said a doctor who was coming out "I thought we agreed on you not- Oh wait you are actually injured today, at least you didn't come here to distract my trainees," The doctor said looking at Kaito's state

"Hey doc, could you also do simple check-ups on the interns? just to make sure" The Captain asked

"Of course, I'll make sure the nurses do so, so they get away of your son" the doctor said, pissed while looking at Kaito, who seemed to be enjoying the moment and making fun of the doctor for not being able to kick him out

The Captain chuckled and looked over at Bakugo and Aoi "thank you for not going against my son's orders and mine, I appreciate you guys only acting as support and not as a line of defense" She said while smiling at them "I am impressed, I was expecting both of you to actually go your way based on what I have analyzed prior to your internship, but I assume that my son already scared you guys already and that is why you guys behaved"

"Partly, yes" Aoi replied

"Well guess that kind of ruined my stuff a little, I require to see you guys out of your own personal will and not under the fear of the consequences I may bring, since that is your true nature. But either way, you guys did a good job, I won't ask anything else for the rest of the day, Bakugo, if you want to head out already to prepare for your internship with Jeanist you are welcome to do so, meanwhile Kuro, please check your wounds and relax" The Captain said while Roku looked over at Bakugo

"I like you" Roku said while looking at Bakugo "You are like mommy"

"What?" Bakugo exclaimed while looking at Roku, but he ended up hiding behind the Captain again

"That's new, congratulations Bakugo, you have a fan" The Captain said before leaving 

The nurses then got close to them and tried to treat them as fast as they could cause they were still simping for Kaito and wanted to go back to him as soon as possible. Once of the nurses was applying healing onto Aoi but was having trouble for some reason.

"Weird, your skin tissues are.... awfully destroyed, but it doesn't make sense" the nurse commented

"I've heard it before, it is something because of my quirk, I just take longer to heal" Aoi replied

"Even if this is long-term, due to the lack of resistance in your body, if this continues, in the future you won't be able to heal at all, meaning you could die by the slightest hit" The nurse said "Do you know why or what causes it?" 

"No... (Does this mean... my body is... weaker than I thought?)" Aoi thought getting nervous

Kaito got close to where the nurse and her were "That is why you have to train your muscles, make them stronger, or else they will tear you apart, that is why the training we give you is necessary."

"AAAA~ KAITO SAMA" The nurse said while looking at Kaito as if the whole environment was now filled with flowers and heart making Aoi feel uncomfortable now

"Go eat and rest, come later to see the doctor if you want, he has vast knowledge despite his angry behavior, but for now, just relax, no need to worry over things that will happen in the future, live your present," He said before leaving with all the nurses following him
