Enemies | Hawk.

~ 𝐂𝐡𝐚𝐩𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝟏𝟐 ~

Hawk's POV:

After sensei stops speaking, out of the corner of my eye I can see y/n looking confused.

Her eyes slowly drift over to me. She shoots a nasty look.

I don't meet her eyes. I look straight ahead. Unbothered by her presence.

Sensei Kreese begins to partner us up. He points towards me and then I follow his hand to see who my partner is.

Almost like a miracle.. I see his hand is pointing towards y/n.

fantastic.

I can see her roll her eyes and mutter something under her breath.

she's feeling the same way I am.

Me and y/n find a place on the mat. We begin to bow towards eachother. Not breaking eye contact.

I can see the anger in her eyes.

I return the anger.

We begin to spar and I get a sneaky jab punch to the stomach instantly.

I can see her grow more angry.

She comes in quickly with a high roundhouse and spinning back kick.

I miss her second kick and it goes straight into my stomach.

"What's gotten you so fiesty today, princess?" I saw with a smirk.

She ignores me and continues to throw punches left, right and centre.

I smirk.

I quickly block her next punch and counter attack it with a side kick to the stomach.

It hurts her.

"I am going to kill you" she screams.

She begins to run at me and all of a sudden jumps on me. Making me fall to the ground.

She starts to punch me and scream all kinds of things to me.

"God I hate your guts"

"You drive me insane you know that!"

"I am going to make you quit"

I smirk.

"Oh but I'm incapable of giving you that pleasure" I snap.

I see a smirk slowly grow on her face.

"That's not the first time you've said that to a women is it?"

The room fills with laughter.

I have to admit it was a good comeback but it did hurt my ego a bit.

I'll never let her know that.

I push her off me and get up.

We continue to spar again.

We say nothing to eachother in the duration of this time.

Suddenly, Sensei Kreese walks over to us and watches us intently for a few minutes.

I can see that y/n is growing rather uncomfortable by this.

Seeing her like this makes me sympathetic towards her.

It makes me want to hurt whatever is making her feel like this.

But I can't. That would be weird.

I zone out for a moment but instantly get snapped back into reality when I hear y/n's voice.

"If you've got something to say then spit it out already!"

I can hear the frustration in her voice but also the stress.

Sensei Kreese chuckles to himself.

He whistles, gaining the classes attention.

"Class, pay attention. I have been watching over these two spar and I've seen a few mistakes that they made that could get you killed in the real world"

He continues.

"First of all, Hawk."

I look up instantly.

"Throw a punch at me"

I do as he says. He quickly grabs my arm and puts me into the arm breaking position he had me in the first time I met him.

But this time he doesn't stop. I hear a snap and I instantly fall to the floor.

An enormous amount of pain rushes over me.

I hell someone yell 'stop' in a very distraught tone of voice.

Sensei Kreese ignores this comment and hovers over me.

"Even though you have your opponent on the ground, you haven't ended the fight"

He pulls his arm back and forcefully punches me straight in the face.

I black out for a few seconds. But come back around.

My vision is blurred and nothing but dead silence fills the room. Until..

"Stop it already!"

Sensei Kreese is pushed out of the way and I see y/n kneel down next to me.

"Can't you see he's hurt! What's wrong with you?!"

Everything just stares.

"Are you fucked in the head, you stupid fuck?" She yells.

She helps me up and carries me to her dad's car.

I see her rest me down gently and then rush back in to get our stuff.

She gets in the driver seat.

She pulls off and begins to speed up.

"Where are you taking me?" I mutter.

She glances back for a second.

"To the hospital. Your in really bad shape and my good for nothing dad just stood there and watched him hurt you"

She sounds like she's crying.

"I couldn't watch him do that to you. It was so wrong and uncalled for"

I know she cares but I can't help but wonder if maybe seeing that had triggered something more traumatic that has happened to her.

"Dont tell me you care about me princess?" I chuckle. Trying to lighten the mood.

She giggles.

"Don't get used to it".

I can just about see her grin. That makes me happy.

I drift off to sleep.

After around 20 minutes, y/n pulls to a stop and gets out of the car.

She opens the passenger door and helps me out.

She slowly helps me get into the hospital and sits down next to me in the hospital and waits patiently.

Despite being in pain, I can't say I have ever felt more happy and relaxed in my life.

Being with her almost makes me forget about my problems and makes me forget everyone and everything.

I know it has been so long since I last updates and I deeply apologise but I am currently in half term atm and I am going to try and update a lot more. I hope you enjoy this chapter.
