The next morning I'm awaken by the head boy. "Remus, There's someone downstairs waiting for you. She is a Gryffindor, I wouldn't have let her in if it wasn't." He says
"How do you know my name." I asked
"I don't know. I just heard you and that 3rd year Slytherin was he?" He said
I get up and it Lily downstairs waiting for me. Shes in a brace and arm brace. She waves and smiles but no words came from her mouth. She took our her quill and started writing on parchment.
"Remus, Sirius made me loose my voice. I can't talk for a week." She says on the paper looking at me for a response
"How are they gonna fix this." I asked
She writes more. "I can't talk for a week . But I can still go to classes and be a good little first year. But promise me this, when I get my voice back, Will I be able to strangle Sirius." She writes
She writes so carelessly and it comes out so beautiful.
"Sure." I say
"Good." She writes
"So how many days have you been in the hospital 2?" I ask
"Yes. Today's the 3rd." She writes
I go upstairs to change and the guys are already up, I didn't think they'd be up this early.
"What's wrong with Lily?" James asked
"How did you know?" I asked
"I heard the head boy come in and get you. I drifted back asleep when you left and was listening to you when you came back up." James says
"Oh, Ok." I say "She's lost her voice. She can't talk for 4 more days."
Guilt flashes across Sirius's face.
"She's downstairs" he asks
"Yeah. Either that or on her way to potions." I say
We walk down stairs and to see just a few kids ready probably waiting for friends. Breakfast we see Lily but she doesn't speak to us. I sit down with them and we eat. I told them id see them in potions. I get up and leave, When I get to potions I see Lily and some other kids working on a assignment.
Sirius comes in and apologized to Lily and turned out she did care that he cared about her cause she hugged him. She can spell things with her wand with light? Oh Merlin isn't there a thing she can't do.
"Today children, since it's close to the holiday I'm going to choose seats again." Professor Slughorn says "Where Lily's group is, Will be James, Severus, Avery, and Peter"
I sit with 2 Slytherins and 1 other Gryffindor Clark.
Lily sits with Alice, And 2 Slytherin girls.
Sirius is with Sebastian and 2 Slytherins.
D.A.D.A was cool we dueled again the partners were
Lily won again! Everyone was so happy for her. Everyone knew she lost her voice and was happy for her.
By the time Herbology came around Lily was to happy. She was righting words with her wand when she answered a question. The teacher have us by the time we left 25 points for Gryffindor just because of Lily.
We went to dinner and everyone was happy because we were winning for the house cup. It's rare when first years earn so many points but Lily's broken that.
"I don't get it." Peter says when we get back to the rooms. "how can she spell words with her wand?" he asked
"She once told me her wand was special. And its powers can only be used by her. It's really cool." I say
They don't argue what so ever, We just go to bed.
