Our Story (Meliodas x OC)

Chapter 10

"Does he really think he can escape me?" King says matter of factly

"I don't know, they all do run pretty fast..." Alex replies knowing it was a rhetorical question. King speeds up on chasteifol landing in front of Ban, cutting him off.

"What are you doing with fake King, mom?" Ban asks

"He's not a fake, Ban. I really think you guys should talk stuff out"

"I really am King," King tells him

"Look, I'm busy. I really don't have time. Now shoo" Ban gestures with his hand, telling King to get out of the way

"You'll see," King says with a smirk

"Izzat so?" Ban returns the smirk

Ban rushes past King, grabbing Alex by her arm and slinging her around onto his back

"Woah, easy there bud" Alex kind of yells because she was surprised

"You haven't changed at all since the old days huh?" King catches back up to the two "As long as you get what you want, you couldn't care less if anybody else gets hurt"

Ban starts using one arm to swing at King, using the other arm to hold Alex up.

"How bout that, you really are King" Ban stops swinging at King

"I told you!" Alex says hitting Ban's head one time

"Ow!"

"Didn't I say so?" King says after Alex

"Then I won't have to hold back when I kick your ass!" Ban screams using his hand to backhand/ punch King

"Aii, if you guys are going to fight put me down! I'll kick both your asses if you hurt me!" Alex says, hitting Ban's head once again

"Sorry mom," they say in unison before Ban realizes he hit Kings chasteifol and not him

"You used to backhand me all the time..." Alex hears King say before wandering off, following a certain white dress she had seen

"Elaine?" She calls out

"Alex!" Elaine jumps out from behind a huge green crystal and hugs her

"Oh I've missed you so much Elaine," Alex says as she hugs back

Alex walks towards the fairy king's forest. Everything was wrong though. The trees were burnt fires still going in some places, it doesn't even take her a second before she full-on sprints to her destination, she brings out her wings unconsciously and starts flying at an inhumane speed towards Elaine's tree. She hasn't been here in about 2 days and figured she go see Elaine one last time before parting with Meliodas to go to another village.

"Elaine?!" She screams looking all around the big burnt tree where the fountain of youth used to be

She starts pulling on her hair out of frustration, she's lost her own child so many times already. She can't handle it each and every time and this isn't any different from any of those times.

"ELAINE!" She finally spots Ban with a dead Elaine in his arms, he's crying. Alex puts on a brave face real quick, she can't let him see her break down and make him feel worse.

"Ban?" She walks up to him and motions for him to come. He complies and brings Elaine with him.

"Can you heal her?" His voice cracks as he asks even though he knows the answer already, tears well up in Alex's eyes

"No I'm sorry I can't, she's already-" her own voice cracking stops her from talking further. She just hugs Ban after that, trying soothe him, even though her own heart was hurting just the same, maybe even worse...
