You weren't surprised by how big his room was, honestly seeing the rest of the mansion, his room being big was not really much of a surprise. It looked like any other rich kid's room, a huge TV, expensive curtains, a king-sized bed...you get the jest.

He stared at you with eyes anticipating an answer and you swallow hard, his eyes were so intimidating, they almost made your heart forget how to beat. You steady your feet to the ground, trying to suck in as much confidence in yourself as you can.

"I'm your maid," You say sternly, despite the knot in your stomach.

He quirks a brow in your direction, a brief silence filling the room,
 "Maid?... So you mean?... Pfft--HAHAHAH!"

He bursts out laughing, causing you to involuntarily flinch at the unexpected reaction, he hunched down to grip at his stomach as a loud crack of laughter invaded the room, his laughter. And honestly, right now, you were the most confused you've ever been.

"Hah! So, your that chick whose dog tore my dad's garden huh? You shoulda seen his face. The old fart was practically flaring out his nostrils when he saw the huge dump your dog took right in the middle of the lawn-!"

You were stiff completely stoned. You never thought you'd live to see the day of the man you were intimidated of most, laughing. You stood in silence watching as the pink-haired man laughed his ass off, while you process the situation.

So he heard about you? Welp, that'll make the situation much easier, at least now you won't have to go over your embarrassing sob story all over again. Though--still, you couldn't help but feel a glint of shame knowing that he did. He probably thought of you as nothing more than an irresponsible little kid who couldn't control where her dog pooped.

"Hey! I-"

"You go to the same school as me, yeah?" He cuts you off, laughter slowly dying down as he slumps onto his plush king-sized bed.

You weren't sure what to say, honestly-- you were a little scared rumors would fly around the campus, about you being in debt to a bunch of blue blood. But then again, you really had no shame left in the toilet for you to flush down anymore.

"... Yeah" You told him, trying your absolute best to hide the way your voice quivered as you spoke.

He smiles and you can't tell if it's genuine or not.

"You're not gonna give me your name?"

"My name matters?"

"Course, how am I s'posed to call out to you if I don't know your name? Plus, this is the first time dad's  assigned a maid to me, it's usually only male butlers n stuff, so this is pretty new"

You grip your apron, that was probably a dumb thing to say; Of course, he needed your name. But right now, hearing your name fall from the lips of the very man you hate most was the last thing you wanted. You weren't fighting against him, you were fighting against your own stubbornness and will.
