Now, who are you trying to fool?
Spewing all that shit?
Our mothers, sisters, brothers?
They all know you're playing

You ran from my problems,
Ran from my help,
Ran from anything,
That could've taken you outta your first place spot

But now I'm
Changing your name in my phone,
Wondering what we've become,
Used to say forever,
But now you're saying "done"

Do they mean more to you?
All the people you used to hate?
Tell me, do they know you better?
So lemme get this straight,

It used to be me and you,
V and L against the world,
All I ever wanted was to be enough for you,
But now I realize that shouldn't be how friends role, true?

So I'm done trying,
Now it's up to you,
I used to love you,
Now all I do is rue

Avoiding you in the hallway,
Wishing on what we've become,
