Few days later **
"Alright Nevaeh you're all set to go home, it's been a pleasure having you here with us and making the staff smile and laugh. But please don't come back to us unless it's to deliver that baby of yours!" Dr Reid spoke as he shook my hand as I was getting checked out of the hospital.
It's been a crazy few days since I awoke in the hospital, friends from school stopped by saying that they missed me and wish me a fast recovery. Also some people that didn't even know me stopped by and said get well, what surprised me was when Aliceson stopped by. Though it was only her and not her and the Barbie crew, thank god for that.
Brody's family was there of course and Madeline cried every time she looked at me and saying, "what a cruel world for someone to do that to such a angel." under her breath. My baby Eli finally came around this morning yelling momma as she ran into the room. My face has gotten better of course I'm not some superhero so I couldn't have a speedy recovery and have my face go back to the way it was.
"Momma when do we find what if it's a brother or a sister?" Jayden asked poking my baby belly that was just starting to show.
"Whatever that's not a baby, momma ate a watermelon seed and that's what is growing inside of her!" Brody bent down picking up my superhero making him fly around and making swooshing noises. "Momma is that true?! Is there a watermelon inside there!?" Jay laughed as he continued to "fly" around.
"Of course not baby, daddy is just messing around." I held onto Eli's hand as the doors to the hospital opened, Brody putting Jayden down and grabbing the wheel chair pushing me out. Leaving that hospital amazed me, it was as if I left all the negativity that happened recently in the past being left there.
As we got to the truck Brody helped me out of the wheelchair and into the truck as I was still sore from all the bruises. No one spoke a word besides the endless chatter coming from the back seat of the truck after awhile we finally pulled up to the drive way. It was such a wonderful feeling being back, words couldn't describe the feeling. He got our babies out of the truck first and into the house then came back for me. I tried to get down from the truck on my own but in the end he helped me out and into the chair that we brought with us.
"Why are you so smiley handsome?" I questioned as I looked up.
"You'll see in a bit..." He opened the door and...
"SURPRISE!! Welcome home Nevaeh!" I could have died from shock right then and there. His family and Amelia holding hands with Jordan were there smiling and welcoming me home. I'll admit it, I cried.
"Oh I'm so glad you are back home and safe Nevaeh." I gave them all hugs and had some red velvet cake before Brody sent them all home so we can rest as a family.

"Graduation is this Friday, do you think I'll be able to graduate?" I pondered at that thought, asking Brody if he thought I would make it.
"You've turned in all of your homework, and there hasn't been any big essays that have been due. You'll be fine to graduate angel." His blue eyes stared into my violet ones, making me want to cry as I saw the appreciation and love travel through them.
"Do you think the bruises will be somewhat gone by graduation?" I wished for them to be a little more faded than what color they are right now.
"I don't know sweetie, don't worry if they aren't." He sat down on the couch pulling me down with him and playing with my hair. I fell asleep a little bit after he started messing with my hair.
-------
I woke up startled and gasping for air wondering where I was, wondering where the hard cold floor went that I was too familiar with.
"Baby you're fine, you're home, you're safe." I was pulled into warm strong arms that calmed my racing heart to an almost stand still. "I'm here angel, you don't need to worry."
"I'm so sorry, I didn't know where I was!" I sobbed until I couldn't produce anymore tears. "I thought I left everything back in the hospital, I wanted everything to be normal!"
"Navaeh, you went through an extreme event. It's going to be hard for awhile. But I'm here for you." Brody's voice rang true to my ears, it will be hard for awhile but I'm okay. I survived, I am a survivor and so is my baby.
