Settled in the living room with Sam, Tony and Natasha, Bucky petted Alpine who was curled up on his shoulder purring away contentedly as they relaxed after the intense two hours of paintballing. He had to admit he did end up having a lot of fun. It was easy to do when no one was actually in any danger from him for once. The others weren't talking to him and for that he was grateful because he'd topped out his social limit as Jamie liked to say. Speaking of. She came into the room with a wide smile that to anyone who didn't know her well wouldn't see that it was tinged with sadness. At his raised eyebrows she minutely lifted her shoulders letting him know she was as okay as she could be. At least there wasn't any sign that she'd been crying he thinks to himself.

Stopping in front of him and Sam she propped her hands on her hips and cocked her right hip out to the side. "Just the two men I needed to talk to."

Instantly hesitant Sam sat up ready to bolt. Her and Sam weren't unfriendly, but she'd made it clear after Bucky had told her why he'd moved out that the other man was on her shit list. "I didn't do it. Whatever it was, it was Bucky."

"No one likes a tattle tell, Samuel. Just hush and listen or you're out before you're even in." Not even trying to hide his amusement of the small woman snarking at his friend, Bucky laughed long and loud, shocking all three of the others sitting around the room. "It's bestie movie night at mine and Buck's tonight so text me your favorite snacks, drinks and pizza toppings. All you need to do is bring at least two movies to contribute to the offerings. Staying over is optional and not a requirement, but there will be adult beverages for those of us over twenty-one so keep that in mind."

"Peter?" He guesses glad that she was going to spend time with him after all.

Jamie smiles and nods as she goes to respond to a text not even looking at her phone as she types a mile a minute before clicking it off and pocketing it. "And Ned too."

"Bestie movie night.. But Sam's not my bestie or yours." He points out the flaw in her logic. "No offense Wilson, but as it is we barely tolerate each other on a good day." Before he could snark back a response Jamie spoke up.

"But he is Steve's other-other-other best friend and Steve is going to come. Hence bestie movie night." She says holding up her hands and wiggling her fingers like a magician. "Any more pointless questions? No? Good. I expect both of your list of likes before I leave in the next thirty minutes and you both back to our place by seven. That should give you the rest of the afternoon and some of the evening to get what you need to get done, done. And I expect promptness or you're sleeping in the bathtub." She threatens with a smirk.

"Yes!" Fist pumping the air Sam grins like a loon making Jamie stare at him like he was an escaped mental patient. Tony and Natasha look on with amusement as they watch the scene unfolding from across the room like they were their own personal soap opera.

"No! Jamie, you don't know what you've just done." He had avoided having Sam come over to their place after the not at all subtle hints that he wanted to use the bathtub in his room. Bucky had used it a couple of times himself so far and understood the appeal, but Sam was getting ridiculous about it. Turning to face him Sam cackles with triumph.

"I told you I was gonna get that bathtub, Barnes." Confused hazel eyes flick back and forth between them as Jamie stood there unsure what to make of the two of them and backed up with her hands raised.

"I don't even want to know." Looking over her shoulder at where Tony was sitting in one of the chairs with his chin on his palm watching them she tilted her head towards the doorway. "Gotta minute, Tones? I wanted to talk to you about something important." Getting up Stark grinned as he came over to drape his arm around her shoulders.
