Casting her hazel eyes across the large low square coffee table between her two large white couches Jamie double checks that every snack and drink request made was set out for her and Bucky's impending guests. Nodding to herself that they got everything she pulled out her cell phone to call their go to pizzaria when a firm knock sounded at the door. Checking the time she saw that it was 6:55 pm. Instantly nervous because she knew exactly who was on the other side of the door she straightened out her shirt and any flyaway strands of hair from her face as she crossed the room to let Steve in. Determined to not make this any harder or weirder between them than it already would be, she threw open the door with a wide smile.

Instantly she was relieved to see Sam standing by Steve's side with an overnight bag over his shoulder, a six pack in one hand and his movie choices in the other. Standing back out of the way she gestures for them to come inside. "Always early, Spangles. I was just about to order the pizzas. Come in and make yourselves at home. Snacks and drinks are set up in the living room. Go ahead and dive in."

Handing her his movies Sam looks over at the spread she and Buck have set up in the living room as Steve softly closed the door behind them. She noticed he was quiet as he let his friend's big personality fill the silence he wasn't quite sure himself how to fill. Tapping the movies in her hand with his index finger Sam tells her, "I wasn't sure what genre you guys were going for so I brought two I thought would appeal to the broad age range of everyone coming."

Snorting Jamie looks up from the DVDs in her hands to see him grinning down at her like an idiot. "The Lion King and Grumpy Old Men. Real subtle there, Wilson."

Clearly not knowing his friend's choices ahead of time Steve rolled his eyes as he crossed the room to sit down in his usual spot on the left couch shaking his head as he leaned forward to grab a handful of Jamie's favorite candy, Reece's pieces. Holding out his movie choices he lets Jamie take them smiling when her eyes light up. "Now this is how you do it, Rogers. The Wizard of Oz and The Princess Bride. Two timeless classics full of fun, magic and just a the right amount of romance." She said looking down at the cover of her all time favorite movie. He'd chosen both of their favorite movies, her hope was that this was a good sign.

"Fine, I'll do better next time." The other man promises as Jamie adds his and Steve's movies to the pile already on the table. She watches as Sam picks up Bucky's choices as he sits on the couch across from Steve and her. "Let's see what we got here. The Mummy and Die hard. Wait, isn't this a Christmas movie?" He said holding up the older action movie.

"Yes, but it works all year round." Her and Steve say at the same time causing them both to crack up laughing when they look at each other. Instantly they each felt a little lighter. Things couldn't really be that bad if they could laugh together, right? Ignoring their amused outburst Sam checks the other her choices.

"Shaun of the Dead and Frozen. And you gave me a hard time for being childish!" He says holding up the Disney movie and shakes it in her direction where she was sitting on the floor lazily eating one of Peter's Twizzlers.

"Frozen isn't childish. It's funny." She points the partially eaten candy at him. Having already been the butt of the joke for years, Steve lets Jamie and Sam go at it as he tossed more candy into his mouth with a grin on his face. He liked seeing his older friend getting along with his newer friend get along in a more relaxed setting like this. Away from the Tower where he, Sam and the others were defined by what their job was. This gave Jamie, and Sam, a chance to see the others as just regular people.

"We've got two men here who were literal popsicles! If I didn't think Buck or Steve wouldn't laugh I'd have never added it to the pile. Besides, the songs are fantastic." She says, waving the floppy candy in Bucky's direction who was coming down the hall from his room with Alpine in the crook of his right arm. Barefoot and dressed in a pair of grey sweats that sat low on his hips and a black t-shirt that clung to every muscle on his upper body that had her subtly wiping at her mouth just in case there was any drool. Averting her eyes from how tightly it clung to his six pack she snorted out a laugh at Steve's reply.
