FOUR hours went by on the plane. chaeyoung had fallen asleep not so long ago. trying to make up for her lost hours of sleep, in an attempt to avoid being ill with a migraine for the second time this month.
she peacefully sleeps while resting her head on jisoo's shoulders. 'serendipity' by bts blasting through her airpods, jimin's soothing voice caressing her heavy heart.
she feels her head being softly moved into a wider shoulder, caressing her hair for a moment. she moves around, trying to get comfortable, eventually finding comfort again. after an hour or so, the girl wakes up from her slumber, rubbing her eyes.
she slightly looks up from her position, and she recognizes sunghoon's side profile. he's watching a movie on the little screen that offers in-flight entertainment. though the boy was not concentrated in it, at all.
chaeyoung doesn't stand up from her position, as she was now too comfortable in the warmth of his embrace, his cologne filling her nostrils with a feeling of safety. by the way she shifted earlier in her sleep, and how her breathing sounded, sunghoon figured she woke up. all he did in that moment was think of a way to approach her, judging by the way she looked at him with such hurt eyes before.
